Reliable, Well-Built Cable with Great Signal and Solid Connections
This Disino Y-splitter cable has worked perfectly for my audio setup. The 1-meter (3.3 ft) length is just right—not too short, not overly long—making it ideal for keeping things clean and organized without extra slack or tension in the line. The cable quality feels premium. The outer jacket is flexible yet strong, and the internal wiring clearly delivers excellent signal transfer. I’ve noticed no buzzing, hum, or drop in audio quality, even when running it into a mixer or powered speakers. The connectivity is solid: both the 3.5mm TRS mini jack and the dual male XLR connectors fit snugly and securely into their respective ports. No looseness, and no static when moving around—something I’ve had issues with in cheaper cables. In terms of durability, this thing is built to last. The strain relief at each end looks well-reinforced, and the entire cable feels like it can withstand repeated use, coiling, and transport. For anyone needing to split stereo audio from a 3.5mm device into two XLR channels (like for live sound, podcasting, or connecting to pro audio gear), this cable delivers exactly what it promises. It’s functional, well-made, and a great value for the quality you’re getting. Highly recommended!

Where did all my hum and RF interference go? I killed it dead, that's where it went.
I have a pair of small M Audio powered studio monitors on my desk. For years I've had them hooked up to my computer's audio-out jack with a totally inadequate cheap 3.5mm-to-RCA cable, and RCA-to-1/4" adapters to plug into my monitors. They weren't even TRS. Yeah, I know. Mock me, it's ok. I was just cheap and was using what I had on hand. I have dealt with obnoxious RF noise from computers, cell phones, and from breathing in the general direction of the speakers. For years. YEARS. Because I was too cheap to buy a decent cable to hook them up. Sometimes I was lucky and the noise wasn't too noticeable, or would go away. Other times it was unlistenable. I finally got sick of the noise the other day, and decided to buy a better cable to see if it would fix the problem. My monitors also have XLR inputs, so I went with this 3.5mm to XLR cable. I didn't really want to spend $16 on a cable, but I broke down and gave in and hit the order button. (Yes, I know there are lots more expensive cables in the world, but I was determined not to be a sucker and pay for them.) Today I received the new cable that I ordered. I removed the old RCA cable and plugged in the new one. I turned on the speakers. I listened. I turned the volume up. I leaned in close. I listened HARD. There's no noise. NO. NOISE. Now I'm rocking out to Guns N' Roses. (Don't judge me, it just started playing on a streaming station.) I can listen to Axl Rose screech without RF interference all day now if I want to. I mean, I don't and I won't. But I COULD. For the moment, though, screech on, Axl. You sound great. Oh, about the cable. I'm able to position my speakers with about 22" of space between them because of the length of the split part of the XLR end of the cable. Your mileage may vary. Yes, it's correct to say that from the split to the end of the XLR connector is about 19.5" or so (I measured), but the input jack is roughly in the center of my each speaker, and you also have to account for the 90-degree turn that the XLR plug makes to go into the speaker. No, you can't (easily) open up the split distance further. I gave it a very perfunctory effort but when it seemed like it wouldn't be easy to do so, I left it alone. For my use, I don't need any greater distance apart for these speakers, but it could be a problem if you're trying to position your speakers further apart from each other.
