10 Strawberry Street Whittier 4"/12 Oz Small Lions Head Soup Bowl, Set of 4, White

I was a little skeptical about ordering as I've never heard of 10 Strawberry Street. I purchased these to add to a set of Williams & Maxwell bowls that I bought overseas. I couldn't find the same W & M bowls anywhere here in the U.S. Although William Sonoma sells a similar bowl, but it is so big, heavy and bulky looking that it takes away from the elegant look of the bowl. Plus the color was an off white. These bowls are perfect in size and weight, not big and heavy. Diameter measures 4", height 3.5" without lid, 5.5 " with lid. The color is a pure white. They are also microwave and dishwasher safe. I use my bowls as accessories, sugar bowl, jewelry holder, small appetizers. The items arrived quickly, and were packed meticulously to avoid damage or breaking. I give 10 Strawberry Street, 2 thumbs up. I'm so happy with my new bowls, they're perfect and just what I was looking for! and I'm not a fake reviewer, this is my honest opinion as that's how happy I am with them!

These bowls are as described. They are absolutely adorable and fit as much liquid as our regular soup bowls ( I measured) so I don't think they hold "too little". My husband is 6'5'' and manly and these will hold the perfect amount of whatever soup. Will he want seconds? Yes, he might.The bowls are white but not a cool white, they are more of a warm white. If you are picky about your whiteware you will know what I mean. There are also minor imperfections such as a dark chip in the glaze on the top of one lid and you can see the groove along the side of the bowls from the mold they used to make them. It doesn't look bad, but it is noticeable if you look closely.Mine arrived individually bubble wrapped and out of four only two had stickers on them. They were really dirty and had a gross smell. I think that two were previously used and perhaps they were stored in a smoking house. I washed them and scrubbed really hard and everything came off! A testament to the strength of the porcelain, for sure. I will keep them as I want to test drive for a few months and if we use them enough then perhaps at some point I will buy the fancy WS ones. But these are affordable and darling and the lids!!! I really wanted lions head bowls WITH lids. So the only reason I took off one star was because they are a tad on the warm side of white. Otherwise, they would be perfect. Just wash them really, really well. Happy eating!

Very lovely, nice quality, makes for a lovely table service....a litt smaller than I thought . Perfect size for ladies 1/2 cup ,Too small for the men at my table

My friend flipped out with delight when our soup was served in these bowls at a fancy restaurant in town. I searched online and was so thrilled to find these. She loved her Christmas gift and even ordered more to expand her set! Great price too!

I love these individual soup toureens. They make any table look elegant. They keep 8 oz. of your favorite soup pipping hot. I received a set of 4 as an amazing gift several years ago. I would love another set so when I have guests over for lunch I can invite more people.
