These really help with thumb/wrist tendonitis. They fit perfect; I followed the size guidelines and no issues. I pretty much wear them all day and they don't impede hand usage (except washing). Im very pleased.

I love it! I got one from the Ortho doc that was okay and I bought 2 braces on amazon that are bigger and stiff. They work well but they are hard to wear while doing chores, typing, etc. This brace is not as hot to wear and offer more support.

I think ordinarily this would be a great product, it just so happens not to work for me personally because of sizing. I can tell it would be the best mix of support and function that I've ever seen in a hand splint…and believe me, I've tried a lot of them. If I could get the size right, I think this splint would provide good support for my CMC joint, while still allowing me to use my hand while at work. The problem is that I've tried both the medium and medium plus sizes, and neither works. The medium was the right size for the base of my thumb, but too tight on the rest of my hand. The medium plus was a better size for the part that wraps around my hand, but too big for the base of my thumb. That's disappointing, because I think I'd love this thing if I could get it to fit properly. In short, I do recommend it, but you may have to play with sizing to get it right.

It immobilizes my cmc joint enough to control pain but doesn’t trap my fingers or the tip of my thumb. Very well constructed and sturdy. Someone let me try one on so I had reason to think $34 would be well spent. It works for me.

Revision 04/06/2023: I have both a left and right hand splint. The narrow strap on the right hand splint is separating. That is, the top fabric layer is separating from the Velcro layer. It still works, but is kind of "floppy". I see fine stitching on the left hand splint strap, but none at all on the right hand strap that is separating. I'll probably have to try to put in some stitches or put some glue on the surfaces to keep them together. This is really disappointing for something that works so well. I wish that I could wear these all day long, but that seems impracticable. You really have to take them off a lot to avoided getting them wet and/or dirty. By the end of the day both of my thumbs ache so I wear them to bed. It really helps. Wearing them during a long drive might be helpful, but I really don't drive long distances. I bought one for my right hand and not too long after, I bought one for the left. There are cheaper ambidextrous braces (and I have one), but they don't do it for me. I have pretty bony hands, but when I measured them for the right fit, the Medium Plus size is the one I went with. They seem to work well, so I'll stick with that size.

It's a nice product but is smaller than expected.

After straining my hand, I went to the orthopedist and he suggested wearing a brace. This one really focused on the most affected part, the cmc joint. The brace helped within a week and so I kept it for potential future issues. Excellent!

Very happy, it's light fits great and provides the perfect support for my thumb. I'm trying to find the same one, but for the left hand, but I can't find one, so I had to contact the seller??

These are the best splints I have ever purchased. This is a re order for me. They are expensive but the ones I had to replace lasted me 4 years so they are well worth paying more. Cheaper ones are not nearly as good quality. Cheaper ones do not have the support that these ones do. Eventually the velcro part to keep them closed wears out but that can be expected after all the use they got from me.

As described, it is cool and comfortable. I bought a second.

This was delivered May 26, 2026 and the glove did it fit. They are a third party seller and after two lengthy conversations with Amazon customer service, and them reaching out to Northern Goods for us, their answer was no, this item is not returnable, and no refund of $76.29. I am very displeased.
