Can anyone show me a certification report on this cable? A good deal of the cable I have purchased on amazon has excessively high near end cross talk.

What is the difference between the STP CMXT cable and the UTP CMXF cable?

STP means Shielded Twisted Pair. Shielded cables are more immune to electromagnetic interference.UTP means Unshielded Twisted Pair. These cables do not have shield.CMX means for outdoor use.The core of our CMXT cables is covered in a waterproof tape and can be used for direct burial applications.CMXF cable is also waterproof but instead of using waterproof tape the core is filled with moisture absorbing gel. If there is a lot of water, this is a better choice.

Do you think I can run 500' and still get reasonable internet speed?

Industry standards call for a maximum of 300 feet from device to device. Longer lengths will result in degraded signal quality and lower speeds. Lengths beyond 300 feet will require the use of a signal booster or repeater to re-transmit signals.

What can kind of cleaner can I use to easily clean the gel off of the conductors?

I use paper towel, clean the bulk off then fresh surface to wipe again, it helps to straighten the wires at the same time. I use crimped connectors so gel is no issue even if there is some remaining.
