Gluten Free Crispbread that doesn't feel like a penance
I have tried a few gluten free crispbreads and cheese crackers and have happily plumped for this as my regular purchase. The chestnut flour just makes for a bit more interesting flavour and they partner a well-chosen cheese board in satisfactory fashion. They have a light crunch, while still robust enough to take a spread without snapping.

These are really delicious! My favourite out of all of the Amisa crispbreads. Chestnut flour used in this way is simply perfection. I grew up gathering, drying, roasting & pounding these nuts into flour & then creating delicious savouries & sweets. These crispbreads are a happy reminder +excellent when spread with savoury or sweet toppings, though, simply nibbled alone are great too. Black olive tapenade sprinkled with fresh thyme & black pepper is a favourite upon these or spread with a little soft butter then raspberry jam & sprinkled with a touch of fine sea salt is another. Yum! :)

These are mostly rice. Rice has its own gluten copy that gluten sensitive people may react to.
These are only 22% chestnut flour. The rest is rice flour which has a sticky protein very similar to wheat gluten. Gluten sensitive people may react to this and not improve.
