Bell & Evans Whole Duck

I loved this item. I brined it in water salt ,sugar , and the juice of two fresh oranges and peals, for two days. Dried it off with paper towels , rubbed with a little EVOO and roasted . basting every so often. It came out great. The duck was so tasty ,fresh, and tender with a wonderful crisp skin. The duck cost a little bit more then I have paid before, but it was delivered, and the taste was well worth the price. This will be the only duck I buy from now on.

OMG it was WONDERFUL!!!

This Bell & Evans duck was plump and delicious, even if it was a little tougher than I expected. I attribute that toughness mostly to my inexperience cooking duck -- maybe I should have cooked it longer. Still, I've occasionally had Bell & Evans chickens that have been tougher than others. When opened, the duck had good color. The giblets were tucked inside, so make sure to remove them before cooking. Mine arrived with a sell-by date of five days in the future, although I wouldn't count on yours being the same. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

No meat only got one serving out of whole Ducking

Expiration date was novembet 24 but when I pick up in store and opened it in my home in my opinion it wasnt fresh,next my purchasing will be that I open in store and smelled

Went to make this duck the day I got it. It was ROTTEN! Had to immediately remove it from my house the smell was so foul. Must not have been refrigerated properly prior to arriving. (Ordered via Whole Foods delivery.)
