Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood: Daniel's Big Feelings

I love Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, I purchased this particular one as it helps children understand the concept of empathy. I know I can watch Daniel FREE on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and PBS but I bought this film for on the go use when the TV or iPad/iPhones are not available, or simply no WIFI. Also for when my son stays at the hospital, because of his medical condition. I love this DVD it is worth to purchase, it is super inexpensive and a great gift. I am not sure what to say more about it besides, buy it!

I love that I am now able to purchase Daniel Tiger on DVD. The DVD has multiple episodes on it which includes: -Duckling Goes Home -Daniel Feels Left Out -Daniel Gets Frustrated -Frustration at School -Daniel is Jealous -Jealousy at the Treehouse -Someone Else's Feelings -Empathy at School Now keep in mind if you are at all familiar with Daniel that there are two stories in one episode so really there are only 4 actual episodes. Daniel always makes it easy for children to relate and is able to teach life lessons in a child friendly way. I'm so glad they decided to do a continuation of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood!

My little bug loves Daniel Tiger. She sings along with the small lessons. I watch them with her so that we can "speak the same language". These shows help us talk about disappointments and happiness and fear. All great lessons for my little 3 and a half year old.

This DVD has some great episodes to help with emotional instruction/regulation but does not contain some of the ones I think are most helpful for strong emotions (like getting mad).

For toddlers, I can't think of a better show than this one. It's a great show to teach kids about all kinds of things without the main characters being whiny or complaining. The way they incorporate easy little songs into their lessons are great. I hear my daughter singing them around the house so I know she's getting the right things out of each lesson. lol.

Our 2.5 year old loved watching this DVD on a recent flight. She adores Daniel and will watch and re-watch episodes. From a parent's perspective, you can't go wrong with choosing sweet Daniel. Daniel sets a good example and the show teaches appropriate lessons. I personally love that the stories are not loud or overly silly.

I own this video. It helped deter my lil one from throwing tantrums at a much younger age. It helps the child learn to express their emotions in a healthy way. I have recommended this video to young mothers. I bought this video for a friend. I was so glad that I found it on Amazon.

We are hoping the UK will be able to include Daniel Tiger in their children's programming. Otherwise we will have to coninue to send DVD's to our granddaughter in Englans. She loves Daniel Tiger.

Wonderful for toddlers!

Excellent show dealing with very real development challenges in children and in a wholesome, fun and effective way. Hopefully more episodes will be released.
