Moisturizing Cream, Face & Body Moisturizer for Dry Skin, 19oz

So my hands get super super dry. I wash my hands too much and I have mild eczema and contact dermatitis. Sometimes it'll get to the point of cracking and bleeding. Worse, I'm the type of person who forgets about lotion until I need it. So when using basic lotion, that means I need to apply it nearly constantly, often more than I remember to do, for days just to see a difference. I do have some Eucerine ointment for when things get cracked and bleed-y, but between having misplaced my container, and it being the ointment, which means an icky layer that comes off on everything if used during the day and not before bed, I finally realized it was time to just pay the extra and get something good. So I read a few articles and this came up many times. I decided to try it. Went ahead and got the large tub, since price per ounce was best and you can just buy a refil later down the line. I do wish it came in a pump bottle. Though last night at Walmart I saw they actually have a slightly smaller tub container that has a pump. Interesting, and not available on Amazon. (Walmart also has a equate brand for a better price but that's not why we're here.) The texture is thick, but it absorbs like a basic lotion. So it's fantastic. It has that thickness that just, feels more hydrating, like it's actually coating you, but it absorbs like a simple lotion so your hands don't feel icky. (I HATE lotion, so that's an important factor. First time I used this I thought it was a mistake having gotten it.) And the difference. The excess skin you get around the ends of your nails, especially on the thumbs? When my hands are getting real dry, that skin will turn hard as a rock and be visibly dry. One use of this and it already had become closer to my natural skin color. I could still feel it, but it looked visibly better. And it's getting way softer now. It also doesn't feel like when I wash my hands the protection is gone. It's hard to explain, but I feel like I'm not screwing myself by not immediately running and applying another layer. I will when I think about it, but it doesn't feel direly necessary like it did with the basic lotion. Which frankly I didn't need to wash my hands to feel like I needed to apply again with. With the basic lotion I was using, when I applied it, I don't know if it was somehow contributing, maybe it was because it had a very very very light fragrance, but my skin was tight and itchy. It didn't reduce the tightness or itchiness and made it burn instead. This is supposed to be fragrance free. (It does have a smell. Not a gross smell but not a nice smell. Just a some of the ingredients smell I guess.) I do know it doesn't cause a burning sensation to apply. And my skin doesn't feel so tight anymore. And I even feel like my nails feel better. (Very easily could be in my head, I'm insane.) I do wish they sold a travel size. I ended up getting an Eucerine hand lotion that is travel size and had cost about the same as the tube of this does per ounce. (Was at Walmart which is how I saw they sell a 1w ounce tub of this lotion with a pump. Have been hoping to get a travel tube of this.) It's a bit thinner than this, but it was a size I can take with me. It's one of the only things I'd recommend to CeraVé about this product, is to sell a travel size for that reason. So I would definitely recommend this. And they have stronger hydrating versions if you need some URGENT moisturizing. I got this one because I'm hoping to be a good boy and just remember to use it all the time.

Love love love this lotion! It's great for all over the body but I purchased it specifically for my face and I have been so pleasantly surprised! Finally, something creamy and smooth. It does feel kind of rich going on but it absorbs completely within minutes. For reference, I am 35. I love that it has no scent to it, I don't love to use heavy fragrance on my face. A week in and I definitely think my skin looks smoother. I also put it on at night, I am so far, pleased with the overnight wear as well.

I really like this moisturizer. I have oily skin and this gives my skin moisture without being greasy. It doesn't clog my pores and is sensitive on my skin. It also has a nice light scent. You get a lot in the container so its lasts a while. Its definitely worth the money.

I’ve been using this cream on my son’s very dry, eczema-prone skin, and it has helped keep his skin much more moisturized. The texture is very thick and rich, so it doesn’t have that light, silky feeling some lotions have. It can feel a little heavy, but for very dry skin that extra richness has worked well for us. I would recommend it more for people looking for deep moisture rather than a lightweight everyday lotion.

Moisturizes well, non-greasy, fragrance-free and absorbs quickly. I apply to face after adapalene gel at night. Use before sunscreen in the morning. Performs better than high end creams I’ve used. Will repurchase.

This product really works, soothes, stops itching, moisturizes. It is easy to use, smells wonderful. I prefer the cream which is thicker. It lasts a long time. This is the third container I have purchased - I am so pleased with it!.

Omg this cream is AMAZING. it’s the only lotion I’ve ever tried that literally soaks into my skin, hydrates it, and within about 5 minutes there is NO feeling on any lotion/cream on my skin. I hate the feeling of putting lotion on at bedtime and then sticking to the sheets or putting on lotion before getting dressed and then your clothes sticking to you. This solves that problem. It literally soaks into your skin with zero greasy or lotiony type feeling. I LOVE this stuff. By the way I have CeraVe under eye cream and that product does leave a bit of a lotiony feeling afterwards. But this tub of cream is different. Same brand, totally different feel.

Product is great in that after applying on the skin not oily. No skin irritation and side effects. Will continue to order this online. Price is cheaper than buying in physical shops
