Best alternative to portable AC for side sliding windows
Had to do some slight window sill modification and the unit didn't seem to have a drain hole for the pan but a hole here and some trimming of the sill and a whole lotta heavy duty gorilla tape sealing it all off and ta-da! This thing works perfectly and cools my ancient little apartment that has absolutely zero insulation fantastically! Wish I had found this 4 years earlier as I have struggled with those horrible portable ac units with their gigantic hoses and miserable heat disapation. I've spent about $2,000 on portable AC over the last 4 years and this unit is beyond any of them! There's a near constant stream of water coming from my makeshift drain hole as the compressor sure builds up water but other than that I have no concerns! Best bang for you buck if you have a drill and sharp bit on hand, maybe a dremel would work too for the sill if you need. Will add photos soon

Fits in our non-standard size windows
Exactly what we need for the special size windows in our vintage building. The unit works very well. You need a handyman who knows how to safely and properly install it - and that’s what our building requires. We were told these units aren’t being manufactured any more. I’m so glad we were able to get one.

IF YOU RETURN IT, THEY WILL CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY
I can't provide a "Product" review because I never opened the package. What i am going to review is the customer service of DIEGO at MAX WAREHOUSE. I ordered this unit on june 10th for 576.00 including tax. I received it on June 11th, so I can say delivery was spot on! This unit was dropped off at my door and my camera caught the delivery. The package was intact with no visible damage to the box. I didnt need it any longer because my central air unit was able to be replaced. I returned this unit the next day. I never opened it, it was put on my back seat of my suv. I took it to the UPS store and had a worker take it out of my suv and scanned it in as a return. Now when I initiated the return I received a message that 72.14 would be deducted from my overall purchase amount. I was ok with the 504.19. I waited patiently and received a refund of 369.00!!! I immediately sent a message to max warehouse but also sent a message to amazon customer service , who deserves a praise, NOT Max warehouse. Anyway, Diego at Max replied telling me that there was a 25% restocking fee added because of the condition of the package and some crap about it being opened. That pissed me off because it delivered and immediately put in my suv. Never even took the packing slip off the package. I have pictures of how I returned it and Diego had the audacity to reply saying IT CLEARLY STATES A RESTOCK STOCK FEE WILL BE ADDED IF THE ITEM HAD DAMAGES ETC. I told him that was a total lie, I have pictures of the unit as it was delivered and how I returned it. This #$$$%^^_ repeated his same spill but started with AGAIN! smh He ended his spill by saying as a courtesy we will provide u a full refund. I still didnt get the full refund, only the 504.19. Im ok with that since I returned the unit and was aware of me paying for returning the product, but to lie and say it was returned damaged etc is RIDICULOUS especially after i said I have proof/pictures. So be careful if you have to return the unit because they will TRY to get over on you!!!! And keep your money. Thank you Amazon customer service for immediately returning my 134.66 that Max warehouse tried to keep.

Minor shipping damage but unit works perfetly. It's a keeper.
Arrived with minor damage that I'm not too upset about but did take that one star away. Otherwise, this unit is excellent. It's quieter than our last one and cools just as well. The price I paid convinced me quickly that some cracked plastic on a bottom corner isn't a big enough problem to send it back and risk it being out of stock and therefore ending up paying ~200 dollars more for another one with a different logo on the case. All of these casement units no matter what brand name are on them are all made by the same manufacturer (I forgot their name) So it doesn't matter if it says LG, or Whirlpool, Frigidaire, or Perfect Aire or any one of a dozen other names that might be on the case. All of the casement style ones are made in the same place. Your current choices are 8k btu and 10k btu and you might find old stock of 12k btu, but they aren't currently being made. ... So, figure out if 8k btu or 10k btu is right for your needs and then find the one with the best number on the price tag and buy it. The seller went above and beyond to get it to me on time. Not sure what slowed the process down but the day before it was due to arrive prime shipping, I got a notice they were overnighting it to me. That had to cost a fortune, but they did it. I'm impressed that they took their promise of 3 day shipping so seriously that they paid overnight on an 85lb package to get it to me on time. I mentioned some shipping damage. The plastic on one corner is busted up a bit. I would have preferred no damage, but it isn't so bad that I want to go through the hassle of sending it back. Also, it looks like someone's knee flattened out a knee-sized section of the fins in the back of the unit. I'll take a plastic shim in between the flattened fins and spread them apart one of these days to make sure air can move between them. Also not a really big deal. I'd have rathered it arrived in perfect condition, but considering the price and the sellers willingness to do what they said they'd do... I don't mind too much. I'm capable of fixing that myself. I mentioned that this unit is quieter than our last one and I also mentioned that all of these are manufactured by the same company no matter whose logo ends up on them. The old unit got loud during its 3rd year in service. As they age, they develop some rattles and the fan starts getting choked up by dirt and debris (easily fixed with a pressure nozzle on a garden hose if you just hose it out at the end of every season) But, no matter what, as the compressor ages, it will get noisy. One could pull the case off after each season and lubricate mechanical parts like the fan etc and tighten up all screws that have worked loose from constant vibration, but this unit will be louder and louder the longer it remains in service. Some of that can be mitigated by general maintenance and care, but even with proper care, the more hours it runs, the louder it will get. I'm pleased with how this unit functions. And, I'm pleased that the seller was willing to go the extra mile to make sure I got it on time. All in all, this was an excellent purchase experience sans the damaged plastic corner and flattened fins I already mentioned.

Really really good
This has saved our lives this past summer. It was kind of hard to install, mainly cause we had no clue what we were doing, but we have had zero issues with it and it has cooled down not only our room but it seems like our whole apartment as well.

Works very well but...
Instructions are too complicated with unnecessary measurements, requirements, and wording. Please include a QR code to scan, which leads to a video showing how to install this thing — from unboxing, all the way to operating it. Also, there are no provided holes underneath the unit itself in order to secure the unit into the supporting bracket. There definitely should be one to further stabilize things. So if you're not very mechanically inclined like myself, please consider getting help from someone you trust, or just pay a handyman to install this for you. Other than those initial ruts, after everything was finally installed, it definitely functions very well, and keeps me cool enough to be able to use my weighted blanket even through the summer.

This thing is a beast.
This thing blasts a powerful gust of freezing cold air across the room about 15 feet to the wall on the the other side. Fan noise is bearable, otherwise very quiet and smooth running. Banana for scale.

Great ac the fan speed is wonderful high speed than the top speed of old Blows ice cold too.
As advertised delivered promptly and minor small issue it was dropped which made the assembly windows frame bent. Used old mounting frame from previous unit to rectify it. Not sellers fault! The unit itself was great and no issues. Cools way better than expected.

Shockingly good
This was game-changer for me and easily worth it, very highly recommended. Most other AC units are simultaneously too large for my window but yet too small to actually cool the space. On the other hand, this 'Perfect Aire 3PASC10000' model really can fit in a sliding/casement window as long as the opening is at least 15½" wide and 21¼” tall - the listed specs are accurate. It also includes a sturdy mounting bracket and some plastic parts to help seal the window.

it cools my living room down
well I bought this unit to replace my old ac unit, this unit is quiet compared to my old one to when the compresser kick in, the fan blower is ok and moves alot of air. the only thing is the lever to change the direction of air flow needs to be stronger/tighter, when u have the fan on high flow it moves the level to on direction

Purolator damaged
This is one of two large items that I purchased from Amazon in the last couple weeks that has arrived damaged. I am sure that it is a great product but Purolator seems to constantly and purposely damage any large items. The seller is accepting the return of the damaged item but it involves a lot of work. Meanwhile, I don’t have an A/C and I won’t get my money back until I jump through all the hoops. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY LARGE ITEMS THAT ARE FRAGILE FROM AMAZON THEIR CARRIER ARE MALICIOUS AND UNRELIABLE
