Moen Curved Tension Shower Curtain Rod 57–60 in., CSR2172BN

I'm giving 5 stars so far. I literally just installed and it was an easy install and looks pretty. Not sure about the sturdiness yet. It doesn't feel super sturdy but as long as no one pulls the curtain real hard it should be ok. It definitely creates more space in a small bathroom/shower which is great.

Buy it! This is a replacement of one I brought from a different company. It was awful, cheap pieces, I had to put a lot of it together… this one was just about put together already! So SIMPLE!!! I admit I’m still struggling to snap on the covers at the end of the rod. But it’s up! And the cover I’ll figure it out after I rest my arms!

I LOVE this shower rod! Easy to install and use, and it has really good hold! Excellent buy for renters who don’t want to (or know how to) go through the drama of drilling through bathroom tile. So far, it’s lasted about 3 mos since I installed it, and hasn’t fallen down at all…even with shower curtain, exfoliating tool, and wet face towel hanging on it (don’t judge me!😂).

This is a pretty shower rod and was working fine until a week ago after months of use. Now it appears that the actual rod portion is facing downwards regardless of what I do. I have remounted it countless of times now. But at any rate it has remained stable and sturdy with no signs of falling down even though I hang my towels and robe off it as well. It is easy to put up. I'm disabled and short and still was able to do it. The mounting hardware are plastic and rubber pads that lay flat against each wall as you expand the rod in the middle until it becomes secure. It's not terribly heavy which is important. It seems to be pretty rust resistant so far as I've had it for months, bath multiple times a day, and don't have a window in my bathroom for ventilation. It adds a quite few inches of room, less now because the rod isn't being held in the right position. It's a pretty silver color and has sleek lines that go with my aesthetic. Overall it's a nice pick, hopefully I can fix this sagging rod situation somehow...That's why I took away a star.

Tried another brand before this and this design is much better. It's easily installable by a single person, very solid once installed, and it looks great. Instructions are clear, but I wish they had called out to check if the adjustment screw at the end was all the way in before starting - I assumed it was my first go around, and it didn't arrive that way, and you definitely want to start the installation with that all the way short. Make sure to leave enough room at the ends for the decorative covers, and don't forget to put the little bushing between the two rods in place before tightening it, and you'll be swinging your elbows free in your shower in no time at all! Super pleased with this purchase.

I wanted to buy these because of how they looked and the Moen brand usually means quality. These were awful. I tried for hours to get these to stay up in the showers in my new bathroom. Getting the end caps to line up with the tension ends almost took an act of God and still couldn't do itI had to press and almost scratch my walls to get close, but failed to make a tight connection. The plastic piece on the cap that is supposed to connect to the tension end of the rod kept coming off and not connecting. These were horrible and I returned them all for something else.

It was a bit heavy, so installing it alone was difficult, but I won’t ever need to buy another shower curtain rod for the rest of my life. It’s extremely sturdy.

i don't often leave reviews, but this product from moen proves the exception. i don't see how anyone could give this less than five stars; it is by far the best made shower rod i have ever seen. sturdy and high quality materials. ingenious design with button hole adjustment plus a cam tightener for perfect tension. beautiful finish. the end of rod covers are a definite plus. if you are looking for a high quality, easy to install curved shower rod, look no further. this is it.

Like some indicated, had some trouble snapping one of the covers. Instructions from Moen weren't the clearest but figured it out. The rubber Ring inside the covers needs to be properly aligned and the tension rod can't be at the Max otherwise it won't reach and won't snap. Got a great deal on it from Amazon warehouse probably because the person who purchased it before me gave up. Looks good, does what it is supposed to do. Holds firmly. The plastic gasket you need to place at the joint bridges the gap between the two rods perfectly so the shower curtain can slide smoothly. That little plastic ring is easy to overlook if you don't know what you are doing. Probably best to take your time, look at all the parts and be two to install it. Great deal, good product, provides the extra 6 inches inside the shower, adjustable, no need to drill the tiles, looks good, thumbs up! 👍

I really like this shower rod! It was very easy to install, and I now have so much more space in the shower. The curved design makes a big difference. Great purchase!

We just renovated all of our bathrooms and needed a new shower rod. I liked this one because it's curved to makes it feel more spacious in the shower. It looks and works great. The only con is that you really have to tighten the ends or the rod will start to slowly droop down. Also the ends are really trick to keep in the proper place as well.
