Maui Babe Tanning and Browning Lotion 8 Ounces (Pack of 2)

This product has been my absolute favorite since a trip to Hawaii in 2007! I have a medium dark tan and I don’t burn or peel easily. It’s an oily product and I do not use this on my face, but the tan that I get on the rest of my body is the best tan from any product that I have ever used! I am asked multiple times throughout the summer months about my tan and the product that I use. The coffee element works with my skin to give me a really pretty color. It does not stain my hands and rinses right out of my suit if it comes into contact with the material. I have experienced staining on towels, at times, but not enough to make me quit using the product. Many of my friends have used this. I have found that there is no middle ground; you either love it or hate it! I am a loyal Maui Babe lover!!

This is the best stuff on the planet if you want to get a natural, brown tan. I've lived in Florida all my life and have always had some form of a tan. I lived in Key Largo for 7 years & had the entire summer off 2 years ago, and because it never rains down there, I was able to lay out, front and back, for 4-5 hours a day. It's not a skin colorant or dye; it just makes your tan brown, which is what you want it to be. At the end of the summer, I was completely, unrecognizably tan! Even my fingers, toes and tops of my feet were brown, with white skin in between where I had my fingers closed. It smells a little like coffee when you put it on, but that dissipates and a little goes a long way. I put it on my face, neck, ears, back of neck, entire body, etc. There was not one inch outside my bathing suit lines that was not brown. Happiest summer of my life. This stuff is worth every single penny if you're serious about getting a REAL TAN. Don't expect it in one day. But you WILL build up a base tan and be able to build up on it sooner than any other tanning lotion out there and I've used them all. It's not sticky and soaks in nicely. Just wipe your hands off with a paper towel when you're done wiping it on because it will stain a few spots on your hands. I'd give this stuff 10 STARS if I could!!!!!

This stuff is great. I read the reviews of other fair skinned people liking this product, and decided to buy a trial bottle. I waited until it arrived and then until a day when the sun was out and I hd some free time. I put it on and headed upstairs for some tanning on my roof. This stuff works. I don't know if it is the kukui nut oil that slowly browns on your skin or the ground Kona coffee beans that do it, but something about this formula works. It also tingles on your skin, possibly from the coffee beans as well, so you feel slightly energized. It does have a faint coffee smell and despite being labled a lotion -- it contains some mineral oil -- will feel more like an oil once it warms up in the sun. I liked it so much the first day (noticable difference in skin tone after just 3 hours) that I came back and ordered another 2 bottles. I am almost through the second one now and am a good deal darker. So much so, that people that meet me now, don't think I have fair skin. I do all my tanning in the sun, but if you want to use the tanning beds, I would suggest you use the version of Maui Babe that is designed for that. The regular version leaves too much of a mess to clean up afterwards. I would recommend this product to all skin types, but be sure to lay down a coat of SPF below the Maui Babe, since it doesn't contain any. It does have aloe, which helps if you do burn slightly.

My wife told me about this product and wanted me to look into it for herself. I'm the only one active on Amazon so I ordered this two pack and see if this product is any good. First time I used it was on a hot sunny day to mow the lawn. Bad idea.......this stuff is mega greasy and any and all dirt or grass will stick to you like fly paper. I looked like a dirt monster after mowing......it was quite funny to be honest. I did get a tan though ;) My wife has a tanning bed.......ok WE have a tanning bed because I do use it also I guess. I used the maui babe and wow........I was nice and brown and has lasted for few days so far. Bad thing is again........its dang greasy. I tanned right before I went to bed and personally I take a shower in the mornings but there was not way I was going to bed all oiled up reflecting any light that hit my body. So the shower I go and clean this stuff off. Next morning the results that it claims where right on. Some say the smell is bad......well it is straight out of the bottle but once its on your body its really not that bad or maybe I just got used to it. It smells like burnt coffee and butter. This is definitely not a lotion that you would use at a tanning salon out in public unless you plan on going straight to your car to home I guess. Grease monkey........but I have to say IT DOES WORK.

Perfect summer tanning/browning lotion. It is not a stain but does leave a brown tint to hands after applying just simply wash hands. Beautiful glowing tan lots of compliments on my tan this year. Second time purchasing product and I suggest it to anyone who asks!

My husband and I love the Babe! I always have some for visiting girlfriends too. I’m 69 and have used it exclusively since the 90’s. I’ve used it with sunscreen 30 and After Sun in both Arizona and Hawaii.

This is by far the very best tanning lotion I've ever used. I found it a few years ago when I was in Peurto Rico and I have continued to use it. It has a self tanner in it as well. All of my friends use it and I'm always told how great my tan is.

Excellent product!! Enhanced my tan without peeling or burning. I have natural golden brown skin colour and this product worked wonders to enhance my natural colour. First time purchase for my holiday to Thailand and it worked a treat its just a shame its so pricey. Much better than oils and body buttersI have used in past. Just make sure you apply Aftersun regularly because it really helped sooth any soreness and dryness, making my tan last much longer than the usual 7-10 days. In fact, it has been one month since I returned and although my tan has faded, my legs which have always been pale and take longer to soak up the sun still have a golden glow a long with the rest of my body.

Great product. Must use with other sun protection and do not get on your clothing as it can stain. Used for many years and glad to get it here in Dubai.
