Everyday Essentials Olympic Super Curl Barbell Curl Bar, 48 inch (350 lb Weight Capacity)

This EZ Curl bar has exceeded my expectations. The shipping packaging was a strong cardboard tube with plastic end caps stapled and taped down with the bar wrapped inside with thick plastic wrap. Not a stretch or ding anywhere on the really nice chrome coating. My clients and I have used this bar for a month now and I couldn’t be happier. The bar is solid and the bends are clean, even and equal on both sides. The knurling feels great and helps to grip for things like Curls and Skullchrushers. Not that it’s needed but the sleeves roll smoothly and there isn’t too much slop from bar to bushings to sleeves. I’ve used Curl bars that cost 2-3 times more than this and they don’t hold a candle to this bar. The value alone makes this bar a keeper but my clients and friends won’t know the difference because this bar looks and works great like a much more expensive piece of gym equipment. I’m so glad I pulled the trigger and took a risk on this “cheap” bar...that turned out to not be cheap at all...just a great deal all around.

This bar is strong, sturdy and a good value. It is a great addition to my home gym. The knurling will not cut into your skin and the angles are what I was looking for. I read some reviews of people complaining about the weight of the bar. I have not weighed the bar but I can tell it is not 25 pounds. BUT...this is a quality bar that can hold a lot of weight. So what if it doesn't weigh 25. I am more focused on the weight that goes on it and how the bar performs. Say I put 50 pounds on it. Should I really complain and return the bar because I am lifting about 70 instead of 75??? Come on, it's about the work and effort you put in. It's a good bar at a good price and that's good enough for me. The packaging sucked because the box was broken and unsealed but I really don't care about the cardboard that it came in. The bar arrived unharmed and that is good enough for me. I'm about the package...not the packaging.

So yes, there is a typo on their production description that states it's 25 pounds, it's not, it's 18.4 pounds, even on the full product details where the Amazon SKU info is, it states 19 pounds, so it's a mistake, but that doesn't really take away from how good the bar is. Arrived with great packaging. It is made in china for those that ask. When first opened it did feel like it had some light oil on the entire bar so I wiped it down with a microfiber cloth. Doesn't come with clamps so you need those. Was able to add my weights on with no issues, 70 pounds to test out. Curling was great, found no issues. Looks well made and very sturdy. Can do multiple exercises with the bar. For the price, you get a great bar that hopefully lasts. The warranty states 2 years so should I run into any issues I'll update on that front. I didn't find anything to not like, so I would certainly recommend to others!

The product is durable and of great quality! The diameter of the shaft is the perfect size for my small hands (just to get an idea.. I'm 5'2" and fit size S in the latex gloves). It allows me to successfully complete a set without losing grip or reach fatigue in my forearms before I can even get a good workout in (which can get pretty frustrating if the diameter of the shaft is too large). The loadable sleeve length (the ends of the bar) is long enough to fit as many plates as you want and its diameter is 2 inches which is the right fit for the standard weighted plates. However, the knurling isn't as great as a more expensive EZ curl bar, but it still has the hand grips near the center which gets the job done. Because of the limited knurl patterns, you will be limited on hand placements. The two sections on either side with knurl are the most common hand placements, so I'm not really at a disadvantage when doing any workouts. Other than the limited knurling, the bar itself is comfortable, provides great grip, and is more on the affordable side compared to other places!

I purchased this product to compliment a gym that I have in my shed. Me and my roommates have a rack for squat and bench with barbells and some dumbbells but no Ez-curl bar. It has been a welcome addition. The bar is very sturdy and shows no signs of structural weakness. Works great for skullcrushers, curls and shoulder exercises. I have not loaded it up with an insane amount of weight but it has been able to support 110 pounds no problem. My only gripe with this product is that the packaging was a bit overkill but that should be the least of anyone's concerns. All in all, great product for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking for another piece of equipment to help them make gains.

I feared this would not be a good bar because it was so inexpensive. The first delivery I received the bar was damaged and my fears were realized. But the replacement was fast and easy to order, it shipped fast and once it arrived, the bar was perfect. Great value since all the others were so much more expensive. So after a few workouts the bar is holding up well, feels sturdy and a good addition to any home gym. so far, pleased with the purchase.

I was searching for an ez-curl bar that I did not have to order from a site that would take multiple weeks to arrive, but also still be of high quality AND work with Olympic style bumper plates (anything that would maximize the value of my purchase of bumper plates so I could use them for more than squats, deadlifts, etc). Not knowing what to expect, I was super impressed when the bar arrived - not only was packaging pristine (protecting the product), but the bar itself was oiled (a great standard of treatment/maintenance) and clearly well machined. In fact, it was almost identical in manufacturing specs and appearance to my barbells used for Olympic lifting from expensive brands! Frankly, for the price and quality, I don't think you can do better, and it is certainly not a risk at all. I mean the thing is quality steel and a great weight and feel for a very wide range of arm and other body exercises. I'd buy it again, but I think this one will last indefinitely.

Came within a few days of ordering, was packaged very nicely—-bar was in a postal tube sealed with caps and weight resisting tape, within an Amazon box, so overall prob the best packaging I’ve seen for weight equipment Like everyone else commented, the only thing that makes this different than what’s described is that it’s not a 25 lb bar, but more 18-19 lbs. Reading the reviews, I expected that with the purchase anyway; just makes the math more annoying to figure what I’m curling but otherwise fine. Because I knew what I was getting into, I don’t consider this a con Good knurling, clean finish Keep in mind, this isn’t rackable since it’s only 4’, and so your sleeves are shorter also (aka the ability to load weight). Just a reminder about that, there’s rackable versions out there if needed Another thing to keep in mind are that the sleeves are really smooth and have a coating on them when they’re new, so you will definitely need collars or your plates will slide off; an improvement would be have ribbed sleeves Overall great product and looking forward to using it for tri and bi exercises!

I used a standard EZ bar with plastic adaptors to use Olympic weights. Was time to get a new Olympic one. This one came up for $33, a bit more than buying new adaptors. This one does NOT use an Allen bolt at the end. A bonus. It appears to be various prices on Amazon. Works fine. If my bis and tris don't get big enough with this one, I'll get one for $76.
