What is the throat depth on the 401 1" clamp ?

This is a very small clamp, from the back of the throat to the leading edge of the copper blocks measures right at 3/4" these are the best clamps I have ever owned. Hope this helps.

Just one. While these are quite expensive they are really far superior to an ordinary C clamp. To be really useful you usually need at least two of each size.

Are the gold parts brass? Or is that a coating over tool steel?
