I had high hopes for the Frida Mom postpartum knickers after hearing so many people rave about them, but honestly, they were a big letdown for me. Right after giving birth, comfort and convenience were all I cared about, and unfortunately, these didn’t deliver on either. First, I found the material surprisingly scratchy and not as soft as I expected for something meant to be worn after childbirth. They also didn’t stay in place well—I felt like I was constantly adjusting them, which is the last thing you want to deal with when you’re sore, tired, and bleeding heavily. They’re advertised as disposable, but they’re not exactly cheap, so I was hesitant to throw them away after one use—yet washing them felt like a hassle and didn’t improve the comfort level either. In the end, I switched to a basic pack of high-waisted, soft cotton briefs from the supermarket and honestly found those so much better—more breathable, more comfortable, and no weird riding up or rolling down. These might work for some people, but for me, they were more irritating than helpful. I wouldn’t buy them again.

In terms of fabric, smell, not having the absorbant pads inside, this is a cheap compromise comparing to other brands. So far, Always is the best for post partum underwear.

I thought I'd try this as this was my 3rd c section and I wanted to be as comfortable as I can since I have 2 other little children. I am a size 16 but size 18 during pregnancy and so even though it stretches and fits around me, I got lines on my skin from the stretches and because the heat in the hospital and warm temperature at home, the fabric dug into the skin and irritated the area especially as you are not moving as much post c section. I was so gutted as this has so many positive reviews. I switched for M&S cotton high waisted kncikers at a size 16 (usual size) and I felt like my bottom could breathe again. Good ventilation. This product may work for some people but unfortunately it was not for me.

Accidentally created a subscription for this item but it’s not required. Received today and tried to arrange a return but my statutory cancellation rights have been restricted for some reason. Item has not been opened or used and was only received today so by law should be returnable and refundable.

Gave bad skin irritation, burn like marks on points of contact. Overpriced for what they are. Much better buying big soft boxer knickers and decent pads! Poor fit and came loose quickly.

Personally, didn’t love these. I had a C-section and I thought the pants rubbing against my scar were quite uncomfortable. I used diapers from always instead and massively preferred it.

Unfortunately I had a major allergic reaction to the pants, my entire abdominal area has come out in a massive rash and I have tiny bumps all over my skin in area that these pants were. I have now been advised by my midwife care team to visit the GP. Not what you want 4 days pp after a complicated surgery.

The best disposable underwear. I was so glad I had these after I had my baby. Also as I was nearly running out of them I changed washing a pair in the washing machine and they came out perfectly! They are so comfortable and gentle on the tummy area. Highly recommend.

Fueron la mejor opción que encontré para el postparto, muy cómodos, talla que se ajusta al cuerpo. Si tienes cesárea, es lo más fácil de poner y quitar ya que otras opciones necesitaban más movimiento.
