81vp20s rheem would this fit this model 20 gallon 240 4500 watt

The SP610160 is a 4500W replacement copper fused upper Marathon water heater element. This element is for the following Marathon water heater models: MR30245 MR40245 MR50245 MR75245 MR85245 MR105245 MSR50245

i have a rheem 6e80-2 water heater it is around 10-12 years old will this element fit top & bottom??

You will need to check with the mfr. to ensure this element will fit your particular model and type of water heater.

does this fit model mr75245? is it the same for top and bottom?

I'm not sure about that specific model. I purchased this element for a Rheem Marathon that requires a 4500 watt replacement. I also had to purchase the 1-7/8" socket that only fits these elements. As far as I know it will work fine for the top or bottom.

Works like a charm for the MR50245 Rheem electric water heater. Easy quick replacement once you get the part. Don’t forget the 1 and 7/8 inch plumbers wrench for removal and installation.

Great replacement element.

The heating element was packaged well, and was delivered on time. I purchased the two pack not knowing the lower element I needed was a different length. The element fixed my problem and makes good hot water.

BE CAREFUL......task specific

oem from Rheem used for Marathon 85 gallon water heater N.B you need an 1 7/8 socket ....not a standard water heater element socket 1 3/4 elements are task specific upper is different than lower thermos are special also normal thermo disc will NOT work. there is a retainer loop on the upper thermo that has to go under a hook on top element housing this is upper 4500 watts
