Basic, no-frills charger. Just connect it and it WORKS ... no hassle, no complications! However, I do miss not having a visual indication (meter or LED) of it charging. Only has an LED to indicate when it's plugged-in and has power (no power switch), but no way of telling if it's actually charging (or how much). You have to go on faith ... some (many?) people PREFER it that way *hee*hee* It works, and it's CHEAP ,,, good buy if you don't need the extra frills of a more expensive charger.

One of the door lights was left on in my car and the next day the battery was dead. Since the car was in the garage I didn't bother to call road service so I ordered this charger. Connecting it is very easy, connect the positive (red) terminal first, then the negative (black) terminal. The next morning my car was back to life. Five star rating from me.

I found this battery charger very easy to use. Plug it in, make the connections and you're done. I tested it on a battery that almost dead and it charged to full with no problem.

I saw a few negative reviews but it was so inexpensive I gave it a shot and it works great. I have an older sports car that is rarely used and the newish battery was always flat. I'd charge it with my old manual charger but it would always go flat. But charged with the Amazon auto charger the battery is still charged fine after a month. The auto charger also works fine on my lawn tractor.

The LEDs do not light up at all. I do not drive except for once a month and the battery on my car drained and would not start. without lights to indicate I just left it attached for an hour or two, It did not chare my battery I still could not start. I fiddled with it and was after several tries was able to jump start my car with it connected. I idled the car and that charged the battery. Two month later and the battery was dead again, once again no led lights at all and no battery charge. I was after able to jump start the car with it and the car idling for 30 minutes charged the car enough it s started on its own the next day. It seams like a cheap peace of tin to me. A bad mistake that I bought it. The quality control at Amazon Basics must have been sleeping when they added it to their products.

The battery needs to be out of your car (or disconnected) for it to charge. Also, after it says the battery is charged, you have to unplug it and then plug it back in to charge all of the way. It took three cycles for me. The charger seems cheap and only run on auto, no buttons or switches. The indicator lights are too dim to read in daylight. Not terrible, but nothing great.

I'm not mechanically inclined, I just needed a simple battery charger that can recharge and maintain car batteries. I've been able to use it to successfully recharge a depleted battery as well as periodically top off the battery of a vehicle that gets little use due to COVID. It's simple to operate and it works well. I'm happy with the purchase.

worked like a charm. Didn't have to buy a new battery and can recharge battery as needed. Would highly recommend this. Economical price also
