Finally!
I like the idea that a laser bore sighter, of this caliber, is finally now available on the market. I have owned my .338 Lapua for around 7 years now. I have looked at all the major laser bore sighter manufacturers and have never found any of them that offered a bore sighter cartridge in this caliber. That is, until now! It is manufactured by a company that I have not heard of before. But you have to take a chance and give them a fair trial. I have not had the time to try it out yet, but my expectations are high. I have bore sighters, for all calibers, of my rifles and handguns, except my Lapua. And now I have one and it makes me feel good to know that now I am complete. It is good to know that at least one manufacturer is filling a gap that needed to be filled. I know that the caliber is not for everyone. You usually have to order a custom made rifle to get this caliber, except just a few manufacturers, and the ammo is so expensive per round. But for those of us that own a rifle in this caliber, it is a pleasure to know that we have that caliber covered now. I have faith that it will perform as I expect it to. I will let you know later how everything worked out with the bore sighter. Just know, for now, that I very happy that I have my hands on one, for real and it's mine.

You get what you pay for.
Bought this just to get on paper in 75’ range prior to going to outdoor range. Was able to get zero w five rounds. Yes, it’s not super bright. Yes it shifts. It’s not meant for bright lights or longer ranges. It’s just quick and cheap way to zero, especially w the price of .338 LM ammo.

Won't even get you on paper.
I figured that since I own a 338 LM I should probably figure out the cheapest way to get on paper. after looking around I found this. It was affordable, yet absolutely worthless.Even with brand new batteries it is very dim. (so close range bore-sighting only)The laser is not aligned with the bore. I found that by turning this laser in the bore of the gun the dot will make very large circles around the target. in fact it is so far off that if I lock the gun down pointed at the target, insert the laser walk down to the target 100 yards (yes I had to walk downrange just to see the tiny dim dot) put a mark where the laser hits, walk back to gun, rotate laser 180 degrees in bore, walk back to target and measure distance between current laser position and previous dot. they are measured to be almost 29" apart so if you know your basic geometry 29" / 2 = 14.5" @ 100 yards is about 0.231 degrees... How on earth did they make a laser that was a 0.231 degrees off center? you are better off just eyeing down the bore at the target. in fact at .231 degrees it is amazing that the laser doesn't just hit near the rifling or on the muzzlebrake. This thing doesn't even work as a paperweight.. to light... only plus that this thing has going for it is that it looks neat sitting on my desk.Do Not BUY.

Does as expected for the price
Preformed as expected. It was about only a couple of MOA off at 25 yards. I was just hoping to get on the paper to save some precious ammo, and it worked for that purpose. I wouldn't use it at 100yds, but for a 25 yard intermediate sight in it does just fine.

Very powerful laser
Set up a measured out 100 yards on my property and a spotter could see the laser mark at the target in daylight (with help from her shawdow)... very impressed and saved me $$ as .338 Lapua rounds aren't cheap. ;)
