Tame & Frame Eyebrow Pomade, Black

This was my first time trying out a pomade brow product after experimenting with pencils and gels. This product blows everything else I have tried out of the water. In particular, I love that its versatile enough to be used both on a day-to-day basis and for a bold night-out/stage look without needing help from other brow products. The consistency of the pomade is very user-friendly and it blends seamlessly, but stays put (even on oily skin!) once it has set. Also, there is so much product in the pot that I cannot imagine needing to repurchase for at least 6 months, and the price is near-unbeatable. NYX's "Black" shade for brow products is that ideal neutral brown-black that is perfect for matching black hair without ever looking too warm, gray, or obnoxiously black.

I've been thinking of buying the Anastasia brow pomade for sometime but couldn't stand the thought of spending that much. After much research, I found that NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade had great reviews and was highly recommended as a replacement. I am so impressed! Great coverage, I like it way better than brow powder and it's easy to apply. For people wondering, I am very fair complected with freckles (most fair foundations are too dark) and brunette hair. The Chocolate color worked great for me and wasn't too dark. I think the picture provided in the listing is an accurate color representation/

The color and staying power of this eyebrow pomade are fantastic. It lasts all day and gives a bold, defined look. However, I found it a bit tricky to use and never quite got the hang of it. Eventually, I switched to a pencil, which was easier for me. If you’re experienced with pomades, this is a great product, but beginners might prefer something more straightforward.

My brows don’t grow back and without using something it looks like I have two angry commas over my eyes now - wasn’t too sure if this would work - looked too light (once upon a time I was a very dark brunette and my brows are still dark). It works - waxy - so you don’t get too much on the brush skinny little angles brush) and lasts through the day - definately will buy again

I've used this brand for years, but I've never actually used the pomade as I've always stuck to the gel. The gel after a while becomes thick and difficult to work with and unfortunately I feel the same about this product. It has to be warmed up on the back of the hand before you can really get smooth performance out of it. It goes on really dark and is nearly impossible to blend out so I typically have to mix in a bit of my face oil to get it to go on smoothly without being clumpy/patchy. It looks nice in the end and doesn't move for the rest of the day, but I'm just finding it more and more difficult to work with Nyx's line of brow products.

This brow pomade is an almost exact dup. of the famed Anastasia brand. The quality is on point. The price is beyond great. I have platinum-almost-white hair and with a light hand, the color comes out very natural for anyone who has my color to light, light-med brown hair. With a heavier touch, the color is great for a day look for darker brunettes and night look for others. Just make sure to get an applicator to use (there are plenty to choose from on Amazon) and enjoy. haha Enjoy paying less than half for the same quality of the fabulous A's brand.

So I was using the elf eyebrow kit for years and it worked good, I recently dyed my hair black and red and I wanted a black pomade for my brows and elf was sold out. So I checked out a couple other brands and of course they were out of the dark brown/black shades also. I found this on amazon, read the reviews, and also looked it up on Google. I decided what the heck, I'll try it. OMG this stuff is amazing, I'll never go back to elf or any other brand. This stuff glides on so smooth and stays in place. It doesn't budge and you can't accidentally scratch it off. It truly is waterproof, I have to use my micellar water to remove it, and even that takes some effort. I could be mauled by a bear and my brows would still be there. My brows would survive the apocalypse. Buy it, it doesn't cost that much and if you don't like it, amazon has an amazing return policy. Oh and I got it in the shade "black".

I bought this because of all the great reviews. I know there will always be negative ones for whatever reason. But I felt confident. I also bought it because I was looking for a light colored product for my eye brows. The item arrived, no issues until I opened the container. This is not a blond color. It's not gray either. It is GREEN!!!!! Yes, green!!!!! I tried it anyway just in case it changed once applied. It did not. It was super cheap so I wonder if it's old or not selling well. Regardless it went in the trash. Not sure I want to try another color. But heads up if you want the blond....think twice!!!

Using this for office wear.. it stays long from 7am to 9pm.. highly recommended.

Ottima cremosità. Si stende benissimo con il pennellino e si sfuma altrettanto bene in mezzo alle sopracciglia. Il colore sembra tendere al grigio, ma quando la usi, il colore è perfetto per chi, come me, ha sopracciglia castano scure.

Need to use a lot of it. Does not cover, patchy.

Me ha gustado mucho este gel para cejas. Fija bastante bien sin dejar residuos ni sensación pegajosa, y el acabado es muy natural. Es facil de aplicar y ayuda a mantener las cejas en su sitio durante todo el día. Además, el tono queda uniforme y favorecedor. Muy buena relación calidad-precio, lo volvería a comprar.

Product arrived at my place completely dry! I bought as repositioning for the one I was still using but hadn’t finished yet, so when I opened the sealed box and was using for the first time, realized that it was dry, also the color is way darker that showed in the picture that looks more a dark brown but is super black!
