Still a favorite!!
I used to play this game with my best friend when we were kids. It was then called "Run Yourself Ragged". I don't understand the bad review I've seen on here for this.. at age 12 we were able to complete the entire gauntlet faster than the clock, in fact we ended up leaving the clock off and just seeing how many "laps" we could run it without dropping the ball. Each section has a trick to it to make it work smoothly. It all has to do with momentum and timing. This is a great tool for developing coordination, and learning some basic physics concepts. (even if you're too young to know what physics actually is). I must admit, after 20+ years of not playing it, I've lost the knack for getting the ball from the turning platform onto the magnet, and have lost the timing for running it down the rails smoothly, but it's just a matter of practice. One tip I can give to all who seem to be struggling with this game... make sure it's on a solid and level playing surface... like a hard floor or a sturdy table. If it's tipped in the slightest it's impossible to get all the gizmos to work properly. As with video games and all good puzzle type things.. it takes patience and practice. Not only is this a good game for kids for developing coordination.. it also makes a cool New Years or other party type game even for adults. Especially those of us who enjoyed it as kids!

Best game ever!
So thrilled that I found this game! I remember it from when I was a kid and I’ve been able to share it with my kids now and other kids we know. I’ve seen kids put down their electronics to play this for hours. Worth it! Really great for single children.

Great fun for kids who don't get easily frustrated
So much fun! My son LOVES games with mazes and puzzles. This one has several "puzzles" that you have to get through that range in difficulty (all are at least moderately difficult). My little guy could do the puzzles over and over again and be completely happy even when failing them. Each time he plays he gets a little better, increasing his hand-eye coordination and timing his interactions with the puzzles/steel ball. This game is a great challenge for little ones who like to push buttons and do mazes. As an adult with good-hand eye coordination, this game even gives me a challenge. It's fun. The timer is WAY too short, we don't use it, there is no possibly way to get through the maze within the time allotted on the timer. It's still fun without the timer. If you have a child who is easily frustrated, it may not be for them.

Great Game Inspiring Perseverance
I bought this for my brainiac four year old niece for Christmas. It turned out that her dad was more interested in conquering the came first!

OK toy but interest wanes quickly
This toy has been around for a long time. My grandson enjoyed playing with it for a few days. However, after a while he lost interest and seldom plays with it. It really tests timing and coordination so can be frustrating for a young child. It's pretty cheaply made.

"Tricky Billo" ??? Poor Quality imitation
Yes i still have the original set from my childhood, so i can compare between that and this "Tricky Billo" ??? IMHO - Seems like a Poor Quality imitation of the original screwball scramble - crude plastic molding, - poor quality sticker applied with lots of bubbles, - internal gearing not smooth. even if its a genuine Tomy product, then wow they've cut a lot of corners. also box is old and beat up, so not sure where Amazon dug out this from...
