Needed a replacement for an old clock, fit perfectly, was easy to install and works great. Shipping was very fast.

I wanted to use this clock in a bedroom, but the ticking sound I enjoyed hearing during the day was keeping me awake at night. I easily disassembled the clock and replaced the old mechanism with the EMOON silent quartz clock motor. I was unable to use the old clock hands, because the holes on the old hands did not fit the new mechanism. The plain black hands that came with the new mechanism were the only ones that came close to fitting this clock, and they could be shortened easily, so I trimmed them a little and was able to install them. I chose a black second hand from a different set of hands rather than the red one that came with the hour and minute hand I had already installed. I am pleased with the result. It is easy to read the time from 20 feet away and there is no more ticking at night. My only regret is that I couldn't reuse the old hands or find a kit that came with similar ones, which I could not. I would definitely buy this product again, if I had a wall clock that needed a new mechanism. If you are considering it, be sure to measure your existing clock to be sure you are purchasing a kit with hands that will fit and whose style you like. Since not all clock hands fit all mechanisms, it is difficult to buy new clock hands to fit a mechanism you have already installed.

Having received a large carved wooden fonu (green sea turtle) clock in 2006 at the coronation of King George Tupou V of Tonga, I was dismayed to find that the clock hands did not survive the journey across the Pacific Ocean. Unable to source just the replacement hands, I tried two other replacement clock kits both of which had stems way too short and were very difficult to install and the hands of both kits were even more delicate than the original hands from Tonga and they didn't survive more than a month or two with the second sweep hand often getting stuck on the minute hand as none of these hands sat flat for very long. This kit is of WAY better quality than these others, the instructions are clear and simple, and the clocks hands seem a little more sturdy (time will tell on that last point!). An additional bonus with this kit is the inclusion of 3 sets of hands in different styles. It was great to be able to choose the style and they'll make good replacements should any fail. All in all, I'm a happy customer ...... (-: If you're uncertain which of two stem lengths to choose from, I would recommend ordering the longer-stemmed model as, if it's a bit too long, this is not a problem unless your clock has a cover over the face that's very close to the clock face. If it's too short, hands may get stuck on the number symbols or may simply not protrude out of the clock face sufficiently to secure it with the nut and washer.

Great price, easily installed and set, and looks great on the clock face. Very happy with this clock mechanism. I priced similar with one of the online "clock stores" and they had me up to $46 with delivery before I dropped out, and purchased this clock.Absolutely works and look great, and a realistic price for a 2" plastic clock mechanism with decorative hands. Fast delivery, good seller.

I ordered the right clock but the wrong length shaft. All was good. It was my fault.
