Thermos nissan intak hydration bottle with meter made from BPA free, impact-resistant and dishwasher durable Eastman Tritan co-polyester. Leak-proof lid with one hand push button operation. Rotating meter lets you monitor your daily water consumption. Flip-up carrying loop. Ergonomic design, capacity 24-Ounce / 710-Milliliter. Review: The best water bottle ever. Yes, ever. - I love these water bottles. I had two and when one broke (my baby dropped it on the floor (while I was holding her - so she was about 5' off the ground) and the "catch" for the lid snapped off) I tried to find it at my local store and was disappointed to find that no one had it! I found it on desertcart and so I bought 4 more just to make sure I wouldn't ever be without. Yes, that's how much I love it. I love that it holds 20-22 oz. of liquid and that it has a measure bar on the side (it goes from 4 to 20 oz. and .1 to .6 L). I love that it has a large opening so I can fill it with ice, or fruit, or whatever else I may want. This also makes it much easier to clean. I love that the top "pops" open when you hit the grey button. I love that it sort of "locks" into place while open so that it doesn't swing back and hit you in the face. I love that it suctions closed so that it feels securely shut. I love that it has the additional metal hinge that ensures it really is closed and makes me feel safe tossing it into my bag. I love that it has a "counter" around the top so that I can keep track of how much water I drink. And I love the plastic ring by the lid so that I can easily hold/carry it. I almost literally love everything about it. The only thing I don't totally love is the shape of the bottom - it has sort of an oblong shape which makes it hard to fit into "standard" cup holders. It does fit in my car's (and every other car I've been in with it (about 6 total)) cup holders, and it fits into the cup holder spot on the treadmills at the gym. It doesn't fit in my babies stroller, but then, neither does a standard bottle of water, so that's not surprising. The only other thing would be that it does tend to hold flavors. I used one with lemon iced tea and now I can't get the lemon taste out. I don't really mind since I just use that one for iced tea and the rest for water, but it's something to think about. Specific to this color, the purple color is pretty without being "girly". I also think the color is a little less intense in person; maybe a bit less opaque. Review: I LOVE MY THERMOS INTAK - I've used a Thermos Intak for years. I absolutely love them. The size and ergonomic curve fit my hand perfectly. The bottles are easy to open one-handed, never leak (as long as you make sure the top is screwed on right, closed, and latched. Furthermore, the spout is just the right size for easy drinking, and there is a meter ring that allows you to keep track of H2O consumption. It's a 24 oz. bottle, which may be the perfect size because it holds a third of my water for the day with each fill up. It has a ring that allows you to carry it on a finger or to attach it to a belt or lanyard. It has a lid that opens in a snap and flips back out of the way for you to drink, but never flips back into your face while you're drinking. It comes in a wide variety of colors. I just love it...can't say enough about it. This bottle was one of four I purchased recently, and I bought two more today. That's after buying five previously. Let me clarify: they are not wearing out. I dropped one at a bad angle on cement and it broke, but that was the only casualty. They've lasted for years. I'm just building up a lifetime supply because in this era of constant change, I have no intention of EVER changing my water bottle. I love my Thermos Intak!

I have loved these water bottles for almost a decade. Buy one now.
I cannot say enough good things about the Intak water bottle. I actually wrote an Amazon review about it many years ago, but it seems to have disappeared in the sands of time. So let me say again, Thermos hit a home run with this product. I first discovered it almost a decade ago when my old beloved water bottle shattered on the concrete, and I embarked on a long search for a water bottle that met a very particular list of requirements. When I found the Intak on sale at Target, I was an immediate convert. Since that time so many years ago, I have purchased at least 10 of these in a rainbow of colors. One for work, one for each car, several for my husband, and enough to keep one in practically every room in the house. I've broken a few (and immediately replaced them), but considering how much I use (and drop) them I'm surprised it's not more. The main plastic container has never broken, just parts of the lid when they hit the concrete the wrong way. Yes, I drop things a lot. Pros: -slim profile to fit in a regular cupholder -locking ring lets me toss it haphazardly in my purse or backpack without worrying about leaks (and more recently, lets my toddler play with it without spilling all over the floor!) -attractive design in a variety of transparent and lovely colors -one-handed operation with fantastic spring-loaded flip top -loop for carabiner -good capacity for me to chug all at once if I'm parched, but also holds enough water for an outing without being too heavy -lightweight BPA-free durable plastic (it's really hard to break these things......) -not insulated; for me this is a pro, I was looking for the bare minimum weight to allow me to drink my water at room temperature. I don't like cold water. -Perfect size spout for drinking (with no fiddly straws or anything). I can freely chug water, even lying down, without getting a faceful of water. -Also has screw-off lid so I can put ice in it (which I almost never do...but it's a good thing if you want ice). -All silicone seals are easily removed for cleaning, so no icky growth in your straw like other brands. Cons: -if you're drinking it while holding in a way that your hand is putting pressure on the cap, it can leak slighly (as the pressure of your hand slighly jostles the seal). However, if you make sure you only hold the main container while drinking, I've never ever ever had a leak (while using or storing) -not really a "con", but the tracking ring for how many drinks you've taken has never been useful for me. By the way, we also recently tried one of Thermos's newer Tritan models. They are almost identical to the Intak, but the spout is slightly smaller (to its detriment), limiting my drinking rate slightly more than I'd like. We also don't like the Tritan's opening mechanism quite as much, it seems more fiddly and harder to open. So we'll be sticking with the Intak!

SO far, so good.
I've been using this bottle for a few weeks now and have had no issues with it. I like it. BPA free. There's a locking clip to keep the cap from accidentally opening and spilling the water. If that protection is in place, it seems to be leak proof. There is a rotating meter to measure how many bottles of water you've drank, if you remember to use it. There's also a push button that flips the lid open fully to give access to a nice sized spout. There's a carrying loop (I don't buy water bottles without this feature, as it really helps when I am out walking) and the sides have some texture to them to, I assume, help with your grip. I've read that people have had issues with the lid breaking when their bottles are fairly new. So far mine seems fine, but it's early in the game. I had the lid breakage issue with Nalgene Tritan bottles, which I bought and used for years. The lids broke constantly, I eventually wrote the company and they sent me, free of charge, some replacement lids. After having to ask twice (the new lids broke quickly too) I finally decided to look for another bottle I would use as consistently as I did the Nalgene. (Before that, I would try other bottles and would end up not liking them….I hate bottles where you have to screw the cap on and off, the ones with straws, and the ones you have to suck on like a baby bottle!) This fits the bill as far as a bottle that I will use on a regular basis…. IF the lids prove to stay intact!

Mostly great bottle
I love this bottle. I have mostly good things to say about it. First, it holds a good amount so my goal is to drink at least 3 bottles full a day (I figure I fill it to about 22 oz, so 3 is 66 and right where is recommended). The lid springs back when you push the button and stays back, not hitting you in the face when you drink. The spout itself is awesome, I cannot STAND water bottles that you have to suck the water out of because of all the air and whatnot, but that is not an issue here. Nice, wide spout allows you to gulp or sip without getting bubbles. I also like the little locking mechanism, which not only keeps it shut when being toted but also sometimes stops my kids from making a huge mess if I don't catch them in time. The plastic is sturdy; I can't squish it at all. The carrying loop is nice although I don't get much use out of it as I mostly carry this in a bag or on my bike. But if I were to actually do something outdoors, like hiking, I think it would be nice to be able to hook this onto my bag for easy access. The textured handgrip area COULD be useful if it were maybe all around the cup, but depending on how the lid screws on it's either on your dominant side or not, so I haven't found it to be that great. The only thing that has annoyed me about this bottle is the meter. While I didn't subtract any stars for this, every time I take the lid off I find myself wondering how this part could be improved. First off, I wish there was a zero on it. Sometimes I don't finish my first bottle right away, and by the time I do I forget whether that was #1 or if I already drank one and that's #2. Maybe that's just me...but I still wish it had a 0. Also, where the meter is is right where I grab to take off the lid, so if I'm not careful I end up moving the meter back and forth while screwing or unscrewing the cap. I like the idea, but maybe it would've been better with a different kind of meter, like one on a luggage lock or something. All in all, I love this and bought a couple for my husband as well (who also loves his). Definitely worth the $10-15!

Best Water Bottle Ever!
Loving this water bottle. It sounds silly because I always thought water bottles were pretty much the same, but this one has really been well thought out. The construction is solid, and I can tell it'll last a long time. The design is nice because it's made pretty ergonomically. My wife is left handed, and I'm right handed, and generally it's never made a difference with water bottles. This one though has a curved design that depending on which direction you face the top, it sits really well in your hand for either lefties or righties. The top is perfect. It has a good seal so water never leaks, and it has a small but sturdy latch that you can use to lock it, but it doesn't lock automatically, which is nice if you don't want to have to unlock it every time you open it while working out. The lock is good for sticking a full bottle in your bag so you don't have to worry about it opening and spilling. I actually bought this one because the price was pretty good, and I got so much more than I expected. I even like the color. It's a little darker than the picture looks (I got the smoke color), but it's nice. Also, a silly thing, but they put this small lip in the spout (is that what it's called?) where the water comes out. I didn't really see the point, but it actually slows the water down a bit so when you are running and pour it into your mouth, it doesn't drown you while still letting water out quickly. It also has a nob you can turn with numbers so you can keep track of how many bottles you've drank. It seems like you need to take off the top to turn it though because I haven't been able to turn it while the top is on. Not a big deal, and it's probably good since it wont move around while you're using it. Overall, this is my favorite water bottle ever. Can't recommend it enough.

Best bottle I've found
I purchased this bottle 6 months ago and am so happy with it, I had to write up a review. First, I love the opening at the top. At about 3/4 inch across, it is easy to drink from without the annoying sucking that you have to do with pull-up top bottles (when I'm thirsty, I want to pour water into my mouth, not dribble it in!), but small enough that you can fit your entire mouth over it so you can drink on the move without spilling. This feature alone would make it my bottle of choice. Second, the top is very secure. As long as you take a bit of care in screwing the top on ( and I don't usually mess with the top as the top opening is quite large enough to fill through directly) it is completely water-tight. I throw the bottle in my bag, and have never had a single drop escape. As other have pointed out, isn't built for fitting well into coffee holders, but the seal is so tight that just I throw it into the seat next to me and have not once had a problem with it. On the other hand, the ergonomic shape of the bottle makes it nice to hold in either the left or right had (I'm left-handed). The bottle is easy to open one-handed with a push of the thumb on the large button. When I first received it, I was afraid that this would be the point of failure, but the lid continues to open and close securely with a positive snap to let you know it's closed. The hinge, while plastic, is quite heavy and promises to continue to work smoothly. All in all, this is a great bottle. The convenience of having it with me all the time has let me actually get in my daily water consumption on a regular basis for the first time in my life. In fact, the reason I'm here on Amazon today is that I left my bottle at home when I went on vacation, and just realized that I can't do without it. I'm buying a replacement to ship here ASAP.

Great product.
I had one just like this and was looking for another one - still using the old one (using it for a few years already). I like that it is leaked proof and your hands don't need to contact into contact with the spout and a cover lid that prevents contamination.

Great bottle
Really nice bottle. Easy to clean, holds a fair amount and goes most places with me. It's a strong bottle too. Really good comms from the seller and great customer service as My first bottle never arrived so a second one was sent, which thankfully turned up. If I need anymore for friends or family I will definitely order from here in the future.

Muito durável e fácil de limpar.
Bastante durável (já caiu no chão inúmeras vezes e está em ótimo estado). Possui uma trava extra na tampa o que torna mais seguro ainda para carregá-la na bolsa sem derramar. Fácil de higienizar.
