Does this outdoor mud kitchen have functional water features?

Yes, it includes a real working water system. The Big Game Hunters mud kitchen features a refillable water tank with a working tap, a hosepipe connection for continuous water flow—creating a fully functional outdoor mud kitchen with no trips indoors.

How long does assembly take and are the holes pre-drilled?

Assembly usually takes 1–4 hrs, with key holes pre-drilled for easier building. Designed to be simpler than a DIY or pallet mud kitchen, it includes clear instructions and numbered parts. Some users may pilot a few extra holes for smoother assembly.

Does the kitchen include a sink and a sliding worktop?

Yes, it includes a removable sink bowl and extendable work surface. Each model features a durable, easy-clean sink (stainless steel or high-grade plastic). Selected models, such as the Triple, include a sliding wooden cover for added prep space.

Is the wood treated and suitable for garden use?

It comes with a basic treatment, but we recommend applying a preservative. Painting or varnishing before assembly helps protect the heat-treated fir wood from weather and rot, keeping your mud kitchen looking fresh for years.

Is this mud kitchen sturdy enough for heavy play?

Yes, it’s built to be solid and robust. Once assembled, the Big Game Hunters mud kitchen is sturdier than a typical homemade version, with a weighty design that resists tipping—safe and reliable for energetic play at home or in schools.
