Smells great. Wets face, rub in, wait a few seconds. Put 3-4 drops in hand an rub together. Rub into area needing shave. WAIT! Count about 15 seconds to give it time to soften beard. I'm amazed at how easy my tough beard gets shaved. Stops shave blades from getting clogged with whiskers too.I highly recommend you stop using those high count of blades to shave. The three blades type shave better, last longer too. 5-6-7 blades too close together, clogs easily, can't rinse out. You can add some foam or gel on top too but didn't feel any better shave. Mach3 or Dorco three blade.

Forget the foams and gels; this takes only a couple of drops and gives you a perfect shave.

Make shaving a breeze. Highly recommend.

Third bottle, seems to be no going back. Feels smooth when shaving and long after on the skin. Clean, natural essential oils smell great and are mildly invigorating. Do give it a minute to do its stuff before you take a blade to your skin.

A couple of drops in the shower with a wet/dry electric shaver and I’m done. Really better at softening whiskers and smooth shaving than other preshaves or foam.

it's oil it work's..but way to much clove oil in there for me..some may like that but not me.give's close shave but clove oil is very irritating for my face so end with hot razor burn face feeling..will try mixing with different oil to mellow this out..but not much better when mixed.so I have oil I can't use to shave with and that is a waste of money...

Works great and though the bottle is tiny, the bottle lasts forever because only a tiny amount is needed to replace shaving cream. Much quicker and cleaner than shaving cream, making it an easy, quick, and clean shaving cream replacement with no known or seen problems or seen side effects.

I have a big problem shaving, I have grown a beard before now but nobody liked it and it didn't suit me, but shaving I get rashes I'm constantly cutting myself, to the extent it is painful, I've tried tons of stuff but nothing is really very good, until I found this stuff, I'm on my second shave and Ive never felt so compelled to put my experience in writing. It is brilliant, no more cuts, no rashes, my face hasn't felt so good in a long time. The first time I used it I had gown stubble, I swiped on a few drops and left it to soften the beard as described in the instructions, to be honest I wasn't confident at this point but carried on, I then gave myself the best shave I've ever had! Smooth, easy and no cuts, my face feels great.

I've been a DE traditional wet shaver for over 10 years now having been fed up with the exorbitant cost of multi blade disposable razors, and the fact that a DE Razor produces a shave like no other. My shave consisted of a thorough wash with Nivea face wash for men and then I applied three drops to my palm and rubbed it into my already wet face. I was aware of a smell that was not unpleasant and sought of thought it must be working. I then performed a downward shave, in the community this is one pass. I wet my face, then applied a further couple of drops of Somerset Oil and performed an against the grain shave. Not a single nick or cut. Very, and I mean VERY close shave. Use to use Proraso pre shave cream and soap. This is like having both products in one and does a better job. It saves time, it’s more cost effective and saves space. Just three drops to my face and three drops to my head. Best to apply and shave after a warm shower or wash your face with warm water and soap. No irritation or cuts, just a nice smooth close shave. Wish I knew about shaving oils before. This one seems to have the best reviews and is all natural. Ordered another 3 bottles after trying one.
