Bow nice, accessories not so much.
Shot the bow one time after assembling. Shot high and to the right, as expected. Attempting to pull it back for a second shot later that day, the rope cocker broke at the hook, at half cock. This caused dry fire and caused the rope cocker to go flying. We’re lucky no one was injured. Will update on the bow when I buy a new rope cocker. I hope this isn’t a sign for how the rest of the bow goes. Edited Review: After buying a new pull cocking rope and trying again, I am updating this review. The pull rope breaking was very unfortunate and painful, but the bow itself shoots exceptionally well. I got it sighted in with 5 shots. Lubricated the string and rail and I’m grouping less than 2” at 60 yards. This bow will definitely be putting food on the table this year.

Almost Perfect
I didn't know anything about crossbows. I did a lot of research and this seemed the best bang for my buck (literally). Assembly was pretty easy after watching videos on YT. The only complaint I have is the difficulty loading it. It takes a lot of strength. Luckily I'm pretty strong. Great quality product. It is amazing how powerful it is. I shot through a 2x4 piece of lumber for my first shot and it went right through. The arrow got stuck and broke but I was pleased with the sheer power. Other than the loading aspect, I'm very happy.

Never again
Huge disappointment for this crossbow. Got it in and assembled and after 2 shots the pistol grip fell off. Customer support took care of that by sending a new stock got it in and sighted it in then after roughly 15 shots a limb cracked. Again customer support sends me the limbs and I had to find a shop to put them on which came out of my pocket. Now after 2 hours of being outside the coating on the limbs had crumbled and flaked off. Not worth the headache I've had with it. Others seem to have had better luck but I unfortunately have not. Contacted the seller and they told me to contact the manufacturer because they can't do anything about it. Won't buy from these guys again. Its on the heavy side to me. Fairly accurate and really powerful when its not broken. Overall my opinion is spend a bit more and find something better. It comes with a lifetime warranty and for me I'm already having to use it more then I should. Not sure what will happen with the limps peeling I just reached out to customer service about it today to we will see where that leads.

Good Crossbow at a decent price
The Crossbow is heavier than my Hero 380 even though it should be the same weight. The crossbow took twenty shots to sight in...kept shooting high and right. Thought I would like the adjustable stock but time will tell. Only a three arrow quiver...wished it was at least four.

Excellent crossbow
I have found it excellent, I also have a $3000.00 tenpoint trx26 that I believe the accuracy is better than it. I hate to say, but is one damn good crossbow. You wouldn't be disappointed if you bought one I promise you!!

Best customer service in the game, Best crossbow at this price point.
When I got the product in (which showed up 2 days early) it had a big hole in the box and the fore grip was broke and 1 of the crossbow bolts was snapped in half. The reason I give it 5 stars is I emailed Killer Instinct and no questions asked they sent me replacements. Now that's what I call customer service! The crossbow itself is great after I sighted it in its super accurate and powerful. It can be hard to pull back at 220lb draw. So I recommend a silent crank or use the rope cocker it comes with to save your fingers. It is easy to assemble just be sure to follow instructions they are easy to read and follow. I would gladly recommend the Boss 405 to anyone!

Easy to use for a 50 yr old hunter. Could be happier
This is my second crossbow within 15 years. The scope is perfect for my 50 year old eyes! I absolutely love the scope. I had gone through 3 scopes in my Barnett due to my older eye site and none of those compare to this scope for me. There's only 2 things I can complain about. The first one is the butt stock is loose fitting, secondly the safety switch is loud. In addition to the safety, the trigger has a long pull before it releases the bolt compared to my old Barnett crossbow. As far as accuracy, it's spot on. I use budget bolts so I take the time to tune the nocks by rotating them 120 degrees until I find it's happy spot, and weigh each bolt to ensure every bolt is matched and balanced within 5 grains of each other. I've found that the heavier the broadhead or field tip, the happier the bolt and more accurate. So accurate I've split a few arrows at 30 yards. My bolts are between 410 to 415 grains with total weight. I had lighted nocks that weighed around 25 grains on them but discovered knocks that are about 12-15 grains work better than the lighted nocks I bought which are about 25 grains. So the take away on bolts is, light tail heavy tip. Make sure you register within 30 days to receive a full warranty.

Do not purchase / not reliable / Warranty is not honored
While trying to site the scope after purchasing the crossbow the trigger housing and arrow guide blew apart on the 2nd shot. The string catch no longer works leaving the crossbow useless. Killer Instinct refused to cover any repairs or honor their warranty and recomended I take the crossbow to a shop to have it repaired at my expense. I asked if I could send it to them to repair or replace and was told that is not there policy. Complete waste of $275.00

Mauvais service

It’s ok
The bow has a nice weight about it. I had a problem setting up the scope and could not, so I had to bring to a bow shop to level and sight the scope. They could not, set screw were maxed out and the aim could not be honed in to shot accurately. We tried a new scope about the bow performed much better. That said, keep in mind a better scope will cost you an additional $150 - $250 and up. The scope I bought was $250 on sale at $180 plus tax.

Badass crossbow little weak on the string
It’s a really cool looking crossbow, but that frayed string is with using string lube and rail lube and that’s after three shots at targets. I can’t find my contact information for them seller but I have a feeling the string is wound wrong as it shouldn’t wear that fast. I felt it was top quality that’s why I bought it so I think it was just something was just not put together right I’ll follow up on that and get back to the review
