Great winder for the money, actually at any price. When I started to look at watch winders I was Shocked at the prices. I mean a low speed, not very torquey motor in a case for a 2 watch set-up at over $250.!! I thought I would use the Amazon return policy and get this one for a good price. It works great. Very quiet and it has 4 or 5 setting for winding duration and direction. The case is very attractive and seems to be constructed well. My only gripe is it does not stop when the case is opened and the knob to select program and off position is a little fiddley.

Purchased this watch winder for two watches and it is just as described. It looks beautiful and works well. It has a gentle sound when rotating which I like since it's in my bedroom but it's not too loud as to bother me when sleeping. I would recommend this product.

My first impression was extremely positive. The winder was very well packaged. Upon removing from box, I found the winder to be in perfect condition. I loved the look and finish. I found the controls to be well marked and easy to use, The instructions could have contained a bit more information but being experienced in using winders I had no problem understanding the operation and determining the proper setting for my taste. I did find the that the pads included with the winder were not to my liking. They lack the softness and flexibility that I would have preferred. They are layered so the only adjustment is to remove layers until you find a size appropriate for your watch band. Frankly, I set them aside and used soft, flexible pads that I have from a previous winder purchase. The winder operated very quietly when i turned it on. I prefer to use it in a mode where it turns both clockwise and counter-clockwise. After two days, it started to become noisy when rotating counter-clockwise. So far it the noise is noticeable but not annoying. I will continue to monitor and update this review should the situation become worse. I do have one recommendation for the JQUEEN. While there are four modes of operation, they all yield a significantly higher number of turns per day than required to keep most watches (Rolex, for example) running. I realize that modern watches have mechanical methods of preventing over winding but do have concerns about the situation. Under the circumstances, I plan on using a simple timer to limit operation of the winder to a few hours per day. However, operation is "microporcessor controlled" so I believe that JQUEEN could alter the programming without having to increase the price. There are much less expensive winders that include the feature. In summary, I am generally pleased but think the winder could have been better. With its price position in the market, I anticipate that it will continue to operate reliably and expect no further increase in the noise level.

Three years ago, I was given an amazing new watch from my wife. It is an automatic watch and it came with a watch-winder. The winder is so quiet, you can close your eyes and not have any idea if it's on or off, even if you're standing right in front of it. The JQUEEN Double Watch Winder is NOT that quiet. I'm not sure how quiet a "Quiet Japanese Mabuchi Motor" is supposed to be, but it's the opposite of quiet. In fact, it's loud enough to keep both my wife and I awake at night! It "Whirrrs" and it even "Sings" at a certain frequency that reminds me of being at the Dentist. The first night I tried it, I was in bed watching TV, and I was wearing my CPAP mask, My wife walked into the bedroom and the first thing she heard wasn't my sleep-machine or the TV... "I think the motor on your watch-winder is about to give up the ghost," she said, "it's making a horrible noise!" Bottom line? This is an economical watch winder that might work well in your vanity closet or anywhere outside of a place where you need to sleep. It's functional, it has several modes of operation, and it accomplishes it's primary task of keeping your watches up with a full load but... it will keep you up at night with nightmares of dental drilling! It does have a setting that winds for three hours, then stops for 9 hours. That works well for work-nights, but my wife reminded me that it would wake us both up at 6am on the weekends. No thanks.

Bought as a birthday present for my girlfriend. Plugged in the power adapter that came with the winder, pushed the switch to ‘ON’. And. Nothing. No instructions for troubleshooting. Tomorrow I’ll pick up a pair of C cell batteries to see if it works. I’m not hopeful. Otherwise it will be returned on Monday. I am writing an update to my earlier review of the Queen Double watch winder. I was contacted by Vivian from the JQueen Company the day following the posting of my review. She expressed disappointment that I received a defective product and wanted to replace the unit. I agree to have another unit sent to me. I received the replacement on Nov. 17, 2017. I first put in the new C-cells I had purchased for the first unit into the replacement and the unit worked. It worked on each of the four settings without any watches inlace. I put in two watches and rest the machine. Again it worked. Please note, that when the provided power adapter is plugged into the winder, the battery is disconnected. I mention this because if you should lose power with the AC adapter plugged in, the winder will not work. With the adapter plugged in, the winder was again tested at each setting. My 'testing at this point was nothing more than to see that the winder worked and rotated in the direction indicated by the switch position. I have had the winder in operation in position #4 for the past four days. The watches are keeping time. The winder is quiet. With the case cover closed it is almost imperceptable from across our bedroom (less than eight feet from the bed). I will recommend this product and recommend that if you are considering a watch winder, you should consider any of the JQueen products. If you do encounter a problem with one of their products or need help setting the product up, Vivian will be there to help. She responses to her emails quickly and is very good at following up. I received my winder a week ago and so far, it's running flawlessly. It came well-packaged and free from any dents, dings or scrapes. The winder holds both of my watches with no issues whatsoever. The pillows that come with the winder are adjustable in that there's a "ring" that fits over the original pillow for those who have slightly smaller wrists. It looks as though the pillows could handle anything from something around 8" down to 6" if you include the "ring" that fits over the pillow. The unit itself is well-made and looks great. Nice, large display window to make sure the unit is working because there's very little noise when it is. You'd literally have to stand within a few feet to hear the motor. It sits on your desk or nightstand very quietly, doing its job. The winder will run on batteries or can be plugged in with the supplied plug. I've plugged mine in and don't know how long the winder would run on batteries. If the batteries run out when you're not around, what good would having a winder if the watches ran down? Controls are straightforward and require no instructions, but there's a small instruction page that comes with the winder. So far, so good. I'm impressed with its build quality and aesthetics, especially for the price. I just hope I'm as happy a year or two from now.

I can't believe how beautiful and nice this watch winder is. I had this watch winder for about 3 weeks now. I read some other reviews and I heard some people say they may have had a few minor issues with it such as low noise blah blah blah. The one thing I kept hearing was that if they complained jqueen contacted them immediately and fixed the issue. That is the main reason why I chose this winder. With that being said, I have no idea what people were saying about a low noise. This box is SILENT! Not a buzz nothing!! Completely silent. There has to be something wrong with you if you put your ear to the box and try to hear a sound. That is unnecessary. The box is dead silent. The box is beautiful, looks amazing!!!! BUILT AMAZING!!! Hard wood, SOLID. VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL. People see it in my house and go O. M. G. What is that? That is so cool. I couldn't be happier. My friend has one, it's a wolf, the best you can get and he is blown away by this box. Bottom line is THE BOX IS SILENT. BOX IS BUILT STRONG. BOX WINDS THE WATCHES PERFECTLY. Box has 4 settings. No need for more then that. THIS ITEM I WOULD GIVE 10 STARS. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. ITEM IS AMAZING.

While the product is good and functional, it didn't have the mode button as shown in the description on Amazon site. As a result, it needs to be manually switched on/off every day. Had the mode switch been there as shown in the site, it had the functionality of toggling on/off every 12 hrs without any manual intervention. Except this descripancy, the quality and finish is very nice, online with the depiction.

This watch winder box is in highly polished condition, which looks great. The box itself is not too big like some I have seen, it sits nicely on my desk. The box seems very well made, strong with great hinges, the interior seems plush in cream finish and my watches fit easily in place. The operation is easy with a descent knob for turning the settings 1 to 4, I find 4 is the best setting for my watches, it runs for 3 hours turning the watch every 5 mins then stops for 9 hours and starts again automatically, the motor is very quiet and I can hardly hear it. My only criticism is that the plug is a European plug with two pins and you will have to buy an adaptor plug for use in England, but apart from that very minor point, all in all a very attractive, well made box and silent motor and great value, but looks and feels expensive.

It arrived on time with an AC adapter (Australian Plug). The box has beautiful polished wood funish and works very quietly. I have not tried to use with dry battery yet as the power adapter works fine. I put the box next to my bed but I hardly notice the sound. Now my 2 mechanical watch alway keep time, even I wear them occasionally. Great item. I am very happy.

Muy bonito diseño, parece de buena construcción. El motor es silencioso, aunque después de dos semanas de uso continuo, noto algún ruidito adicional, espero que sea normal por el uso. El único detalle que le veo es que no tienen ningún foco o led que indique que está encendido… si se agotan las baterías pues uno no sabe cuando esto sucede hasta que te das cuenta que el aparato ya no da vueltas o los relojes se paran… eso debería mejorarse.

Utilizzato gia'da un mese. Nessun problema. Abbastanza silenzioso. I materiali sono, tutto sommato, di buona qualita'. Se gli orologi sono di diametro importante (es. Uomo >42mm),bisogna avere l'accortezza di utilizzare qualche escamotage per non farli cozzare, per esempio un cartoncino divisorio.
