Reliable high quality camera
Brilliant camera. Performs marvelously in everything I threw at it. Used in high frequency robotic control.

good wide angle, average but slow in low light.
I bought this camera primarily because was advertised as good in low light for wide angle. It's definitely good for wide angle. For low light it's nothing special. To see anything you have to set the exposure time to 5000 and then the effective framerate is 2/s. At least it's a true UVC camera that outputs standards compliant datastreams unlike some popular webcam brands. They also listened and added a heatsink to the chip on back. I haven't had the issues with overheating and dropped frames other reviews have mentioned.

Good camera for the price
Solidly built camera. I’m using mine for an aiming camera for my 40watt laser and Lightburn. I’ll need to get a different lens since the current one is wider angle than I needed

Awesome macro Camera
This webcam is insane! This webcam features a very good macro camera that can zoom in to the individual pixels on a smartphone.

Good Product/Works Great!
Really nice/quality little webcam. It’s perched right on top of my PC monitor and works really well! Using it for Teams meetings and couldn’t be happier. Good product!

Giving this 4 stars, but with some reservations. Bought this as a low light camera, with the hope of using it as a night sky camera, using linux v4l2 commands, and thus being able to escape from using dedicated Raspberry Pi for camera projects. Partially worked... The camera functions as a normal USB UVC device (ie webcam), so I've had it running happily on a Windows PC, linux PC, Raspberry Pi, and Odroid XU4 (Armbian OS). I swapped the supplied lens for one without an IR filter and it certainly picks up IR fine. When used in low light, it is a little better than an average webcam, for example. As the sky darkens it will show a picture for maybe 20 mins longer than my cheap webcam. But that's it. It does also respond to V4l2 commands, and it is possible to manually alter the exposure, gain, contrast, gamma etc. But it is not possible to directly configure the frames per second, and thus take a long exposure. I finally figured out a partial way around this - set the camera on auto exposure as the sun sets, until it is pitch black. Then change to manual configuration, set the exposure to max, high gain, and a bit more gamma, contrast and backlight compensation. It looks like the longer exposure time forces the frames per second down to around 2 per second, or a half second exposure. With all that, the camera is certainly sensitive to low light and achieves the sort of results that needed several seconds exposure using a Pi NOIR camera, for example. I've also managed decent low light still images by grabbing single frames using v4l2. Strangely, if you make the above changes while it's still light, the results are much poorer. It has to be on auto exposure until the sky is black. But it's frustrating not being able to simply set a long exposure. In short, the camera works, but prioritises being a 30 fps webcam over being an easily configurable low light camera. Reading forums etc, it seems that's just the way it is. So, I don't regret buying the camera, but if you get one, I'd suggest making sure you are clear on what you're getting. If I've misrepresented anything above, hopefully Arducam will add a correction.

Great image quality. No issues at all. Strongly suggested. Only downsize is that it becomes a hot after some use

Had to change the included 120degree M12 lens with a 140degree to get a full view of the laser cutters bed. But it focuses well(manually) and has good low light capabilities. 3D printed a housing from thingiverse. It has no lights on the camera itself so this will need to be provided separately.

It's better than other cameras you find for raspberry, etc. but it's not very capable, usually it just shows a dark picture in low light situations with little lightning e.g. streetlights - not recommended.
