Perfect for rolling tray needs
I don’t normally review products though I buy so much on Amazon, but this product outperformed expectations so I decided to write it I needed a rolling tray for my elderly mom but did not want it to look like a hospital tray I bought and returned others that were less expensive because each had a problem - too many steps to put together, limited up and down positions, did not feel like it would support the weight well, bottom bar stopped the tray from getting close, among some of the reasons So I splurged and figured I can always return it if it does not meet my expectations After my mom used it for 2 days I can say it was well worth the price First it is exceptionally easy to put together and does not take long at all. I Cannot do any ikea at all and this was easy and quick Secondly it is very sturdy but still rolls easily and goes up and down easily Third- tray is very good size and fits food, tissues, drinks without overcrowding My elderly mom who is mostly bed bound, uses it either over the bed or when she sits at the edge of the bed to eat,. She loves it for the size and easy maneuverability and very easily clean up If I had one suggestion it would be to have a small hole where a phone or tablet can rest, so a charging wire is coming from underneath and does not sit on the tray itself I’ll probably drill one myself Glad I bought it

Outstanding purchase 4 years later!
I purchased this product in August of 2021. It looks and works just as well now as it did then. As a bedridden patient, the little edges around the sides help so much in keeping me from dumping things on me or pushing things over too far. I guess you have to be there to realize how important that is. The other table that I have, I have pushed things off the edge before and gotten hurt badly. This table is sturdy, heavy-duty duty but light enough for me to push and pull from the side of the bed. I would definitely repurchase this or recommend it to anyone who needs a bedside table.

Great Buy
Ok I am bed ridden for a little while and I purchased this for use in my bedroom. My bed is high off the floor and it reclines. This table has worked for me. I can recline my bed to sit up and this fits right across me with no problem. The level is very easy to use to get it up and down. I put this together myself with absolutely no problems I just looked at the instructions and the picture and it worked perfectly. All parts were there for me to complete it. This is a sturdy table even on carpet it moves well. I do recommend it is wide enough to fit around my chair and will adjust low enough for me to use it.

Nearly Perfect!
I have purchased 3 different laptop desks/tables/carts, and at least as many "bed trays" to eat on, before I coughed up the hundred bucks and bought this. I didn't like how I had to lay on the very edge of the bed for my hands to rest naturally on the keyboard, they were a pain in the neck to adjust and usually required you to stand up to make minor adjustments (or grow more arms), the bars to keep the laptop on the angled part without falling off always got in my way, and there was never enough desktop real estate to handle a small laptop and do paperwork at the same time. And I found most bed trays weren't long enough and/or high enough for me to eat off of them with my legs crossed. I've had the product a few months, and my only complaint is that it wasn't 100% level new, and it's become a bit less level with more abuse. By that I mean I WAS NOT careful NOT to do harm. I am sure if you were mindful enough to keep the weight evenly distributed and not mostly on the free edge, not lean all of your upper body weight on it (especially on the free edge), apply a lot of pressure to it, or not put more than about 10 pounds on it, it wouldn't have gotten any worse. And new, the problem was barely noticeable unless you're using it to sort your marbles. At night, it served as an extension of my night table, so I have left a few pounds on the free edge virtually 24/7 since I got it. I suspect the manufacturer is aware of this issue, as under the cup holder is a section with perpendicular raised separators which look like they were created ONLY to hold writing implements. They're not wide enough to hold utensils, and, well, utensils don't roll. The manufacturer would have better served the product if they actually adjusted the angle of free edge to be a few degrees higher, knowing it would level with weight and use. The cup holder isn't very useful because it's only about 1/4 inch deep. Although if you're sloppy, I suppose it is useful to contain spills. And if I knew all of this up front, it's STILL worth the 100.00. Normal carts or bed trays would have collapsed under the weight I've applied. And it's not like anything has rolled off of it. It's just annoying to look over the top of the laptop (until you get used to it, and then you barely notice). The top edge of the laptop creates such a clean, angled line that it exaggerates any angle greater than zero degrees. You can mount the top on either side of the extremely sturdy base. You wouldn't think that would matter, but considering it's U-shaped base, if you mounted the top on the opposite side of what's shown in this picture, you can't push it as far away from you to get up from bed*. If you are using it with a chair, you want the open edge towards you, or the tray will be a little further away from you. You can sit in the middle of a twin bed and reach everything. The tray top is HUGE compared to a laptop cart or folding bed tray. And since it's got a well-designed hydraulic lift that you operate just by grasping the edge of the tray and the large lever beneath it and squeezing them together (in a most ergonomic fashion), it truly is a breeze to raise and lower. Raising requires no effort other than squeezing, as it naturally rises to it's highest point if you don't apply any pressure to stop it. (It comes with a set screw you insert to keep it from flying off the base.) It takes such minimal pressure to lower it, which makes it very handicap friendly. It is far superior to anything I've ever seen, and I've searched high and wide. Hospital bed trays are more stable, but they're also narrower and way more expensive - impractical for a laptop, paperwork, cup and snack. I'd give it 4.75 stars, if allowed, as it IS nearly perfect. * Important note: I have a Tempur-Pedic adjustable bed and pillows (and yes, it IS worth every penny no matter how little $ you have). Unless you are young, and 100% injury free, it isn't very practical (and would probably could cause more pain and damage) using this for prolonged periods with just a pile of soft pillows behind you and/or a hard mattress. If the mattress doesn't hurt your back when you sit up, invest in one of those pillows that look like the top of an armchair. And if you need more angle (to use a touch-enabled device) buy an adjustable plastic laptop stand - many are under 20.00.

Great overbed desk
I'm having surgery in a few weeks on my hip and going to be a mobile for a while and needed an overhead cart for pretty much everything from work to eating while I'm convalescing. I was worried that it wouldn't go high enough but it actually extends higher than I even need. This is pleasantly surprising. Was the closest to medical grade that I could find online that was moderately priced. Put it together by myself in a matter of 15 minutes (tops). One handle grit button moves up and down pretty effortlessly. Feels pretty stable, though I wouldn't put a ton of weight on it. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend and/or purchase it again.

excellent table no weak points
This table is sturdy. The wheels roll easily on normal carpet. The table top is 33" :larger than most. Holds a mac pro, mouse pad and still has room for a phone and a drink. The legs fit under my recliner chair which does not have much clearance. The pneumatic post goes up and down with ease. Has built in foot rest. Only odd thing is that the 2 bolts going to the wheel section are a different thread size. I don't why they did that but they did. Then assembles with ease. I'm recovering from back surgery and it's doing the job just great. AND BEING MADE IN TWAIN is a tribute to the nation. (not you know who)

Great tray
I have had several different trays, but not like this one. I love that it is bigger than others. I can work my crafts on it without any problems. I use it for everything, and I am glad I got it. Give this tray a try. You won't regret it. Also it is very sturdy.

Great bedside or over bed table!
The only heads-up I would give about assembly on this table oh, there are two different sizes of lock nuts. Two are for the base and for our for the table top. The two larger ones are the ones that go on the bottom. I am extremely pleased a one out of the box with this table. Head rolls very easy on a bare floor and fairly easy on carpet. The tabletop does not sag lean tilt or any other stupidity. It fits very nicely over the top of my adjustable bed. The tabletop size is also very nice. I'm not sure why you're looking for this style of table, but if you're looking for someone that is going to be spending a lot of time in bed or has mobility issues this is really a nice table. You could probably find a more expensive table but this is once more than just adequate. I prefer the fact that it does not tilt. You may notice the height adjuster squeaks a little bit oh, I would think this is normal no. I believe the design is friction based and so trying to lubricate it would be dangerous possibly. Under load the table could slip, spilling a hot beverage on someone. If you are a loved one needs a table like this oh, I think you'll find it a great purchase. Assembly requires a screwdriver and I used a very small crescent wrench. The wheel screw into the base rather than pop in. This is more secure. There are 6 nuts to put on just secure the table top to the adjustable base and the adjustable base to the roller base. Once that is done you can remove the screw that has a label on it. I would follow their instructions and not remove that screw until you're ready and everything else is done.

Sturdy, nice, ample overbed table
This over-bed table has been a great addition to the list of items needed for my daughter's care who is in a hospital bed at home. It is strong enough to hold her meals, phones, small other items; it slides easily on wooden floor; it is easy to clean, it is ample enough including length to have easy access to much items such as phones; it is easy to assemble; it is not heavy. The quality is excellent, plus, as an extra, it looks nice, and the price we paid is worth it. Yes, I would recommend this item.
