Whats the difference between these and the standard rubber and foam plugs that come with the IEMs?

The difference? They're actually comfortable and fit basically all ear canal sizes. They're the only eartips that don't cause me extreme pain and they're about 3X more pliable and softer than standard foam eartips. Only downside is the color and dirt visibility, but on the bright side it won't show earwax.

Are these the new kind with the hex shaped inner tube? The product picture shows round but the hex is much easier to get on and off.

This one was round, has the ultimate seal but gets itchy if I don't wash off every 2 days at gym. Don't even use frequently now. Good product though.

Will these fit standard earbud tips as a replacement?

please note the model number of the ear buds ou have so that it correlates to the specs of the package, otherwise no.

On the yellow foam inserts, there is a shiny side and a dull side. Does it matter which end faces the inside of the ear?

I'v been using these for years and have always put the shiny side towards the driver housing or the dull side facing out going into the ear.Not sure if it matters but it's always worked for me that way.Hope this helps.
