I know the lukewarm feedback this stuff gets on social sites. I once believed it myself. It sometimes may seem your creating a bigger mess to clean up than had you just brushed out your grinder without it. But, what I noticed after about a month of grinding oily dark and medium roast, cleaning sporadically, sometimes daily without Grindz, is that fine grounds (especially when RDT is part of the workflow) built up and lodge between the burr blades and along straightline ridges within the burr chamber. The grounds would be dusty loose clumps that would disintegrate into fine powder as I would brush them out. What Grindz does it adheres to the grounds turning the would be clumps into an almost clay-like texture. What this does is make them maintain that clump and fall out in larger whole pieces instead of dusty powder. Making cleaning the bulk of the mess much faster. A few tricks I learned is: 1. Slow feed a few grams with one hand while you change the grind setting up and down the range. 2. If you have an RPM option, start at the lowest RPM range, then when the prescribed Grindz dosage is fully fed, slowly ramp up to the highest RPM and let run for about another 10-15 seconds. Then turn-off 3. Let the grinder sit for at least an hour to allow the Grindz to bind and adhere (through absorption of the the grounds moisture) to all the grounds within the chamber. By doing the above, you should notice that when cleaning, grounds will come off the burrs and chamber surfaces in bigger slabs. Sweep the burrs off with a small fine nylon artist’s paint brush brushing vertically with the burrs and finally the entire chamber. Removability of the remaining Grindz dust by brush or mini vacuum. You will be left with a beautiful shiny chamber with no odor. This size container should last you tears and is a great value. Behind Rinza, this is my favorite Urnex product

These do a good job of clearing out the coffee oils and tiny built-up gounds from my burr grinder. I've used 3 times so far and like the results. I haven't been following any particular schedule, I just run them when it seems like maybe things are getting a bit grungy in there. Caveat: You need to have some cheap coffee beans around to run through after the cleaning. I had some old beans in the cupboard that I never particularly liked, so that worked out well, but when those run out I'll actually have to buy some cheap beans for this purpose unless I want to waste some of my good daily grind...

Bought these tabs to clean my DF54 coffee grinder. They seem to do the job well. They can leave so dust behind but it is nontoxic act there is not much of it left behind. I’m new to this so I’ve only used them once but I’m hoping they will keep my grinder working well for years to come!

This is the perfect product to clean out a coffee grinder and remove all the old acid laden coffee beans. 1/4 cup does the trick and the new coffee tastes so much better.

I bought these cleaning tablets because I purchased two second hand/vintage coffee grinders. I did not want to disassemble and wash them and dry them. Between using a set of brushes, I have for cleaning coffee makers and running a cap full of tablets through fall by a cap full of coffee beans, the coffee grinders are completely clean and all the old rancid oils are cleaned off and grinders work very well. I definitely would use this periodically to maintain the cleanliness of my coffee grinders and I use brushes to clean on a regular basis.

Testé sur machine à grains JURA Ena 4. Il faut absolument régler la mouture du grain sur fin, sinon les grains nettoyants forment une sorte de pâte dure et bouchent la machine. Plusieurs nettoyages ont été nécessaires afin de nettoyer le compartiment du marc de café.
