This one is more expensive than many others that are available, but there's a reason for it. I got this for my grandson's high school football. He previously got his kneecap dislocated during play, and the doctor prescribed this particular model for use during play. He's able to use it comfortably, and it's unrestrictive. I tried several others for him on the other knee, and none were as good as this one, so I got the matching one (this one, as they are customized for Right and Left), and he's happy with the support and flexibility these provide. He's not complained yet, so I think we found a winner.

This knee brace is one of my favorites (and I own many). But I did not listen to the reviews talking about getting the next size up and had to return and get the Medium. The small was way too small. I think they need to update their chart. That said, it is a well made brace good for folks with patella dislocation like me. So get the next size up so your circulation won't get cut off. I'm wearing this brace now. It has good range of motion and the gel pad makes me feel more secure. Combine it with taping to prevent dislocation during athletic activities.

I measured according to instructions, however, the brace was too tight and pinched, I am ordering the next size up with high hopes! Love the concept of the design!

My daughter absolutely loves this brace! She plays basketball and she said her knee never moved, not even once. My daughter didn’t have to worry about “babying” knee during play. This knee brace is very well made!

The sizing chart is not accurate. I measured my knee according to the directions on the sizing chart, yet the product I ordered did not conform to the sizing expectations. I re-ordered the product in a larger size, and while it fit and I am using it, it is almost too tight. You’ll definitely want to size up if ordering this. I sized up two sizes and it is still very tight, but usable. It’s a struggle getting it up over my knee.

Had surgery to "fix" my patella dislocation problem and 1 month after being released to return to sports the patella gave out while making a cut in running lines. Had on a compression/cheaper knee brace and my volleyball knee pads when this occurred. The doctor had said the knee pads would likely be enough support and did not recommend a brace. ($4,000 after insurance down the drain) He was wrong! Went in again to get the knee drained and had to sit out 2 weeks before being somewhat ready to return. Bought this brace in the meantime and now use it in conjunction with the McConnell Taping procedure. The combo of both of these methods work great! Basketball season has started had I bought another brace foe the opposite leg as a precaution. It was also recommended I do this by the Dr. who drained my leg after the initial failed surgery. Both braces hold up well and don't slide around even without the knee pads. I highly recommend them for a lateral patella dislocation problem! I'm a aggressive athlete who races motorcycles, snowboards, wake boards, high jumps, pole-vaults, long jumps, triple jumps and plays volleyball and basketball. I am not kind to my knees... and these work. (Suggest using Leukotape, and a base tape, not linen tape, with the McConnell taping.)

My older son dislocates frequently and he will wear this brace because of the slim sleek design. He has been able to jump and run without the fear of dislocation. We measured before purchasing and decided to get the next size up because he was on the border of sizes and it was perfect. Most knee braces are bulky. This one is not and you can wear it under your pants no problem

Very helpful for people who have some problems with patella. This thing helps me a lot! Already use it more than a year, not a single tear!

Arrivato puntuale e in condizioni perfette. Le misure sopra e sotto al ginocchio mi inducevano a prendere una M ma il ginocchio invece aveva le misure di una L. Su consiglio del venditore ho scelto una M che va benissimo. Articolo preso per cedimento ginocchio e dolori quando cammino tanto. Fascia molto bene e tiene in asse la rotula. Si può regolare nella stretta.

Mucha calidad y sujección pero es imposible acertar ya que usando la tabla de medidas del fabricante luego el producto no se parece en nada. Oprime hasta el punto de no poder meterlo por la pierna.

I've dislocated my kneecap many times and had many different braces over the years. This is the best brace I've had. I ordered this 3 years ago and I wear it on average once a week while hiking, running and mountain-biking. I have washed it many many times over the years and only now has the velcro started losing it's stick. I will definitely order another. Make sure you size up as the measurements provided are wrong.
