Easy install.
Installed this alternator on a 2002 ml320, with no problems. The entire job took 45 min start to finish. The lights were noticeably brighter (dash lights, overhead lights, headlights, accessories etc). I tested the output to the battery and it was a steady 14.4v DC with the car running on idle. It’s also a plus to receive a test sheet with the alternator which shows output in amps at different rpms.There is no core charge for this alternator which gives you the option to rebuild/reman your original yourself.This alternator is a quality product, there is no alternator noise or vibration/wobble.I would definitely recommend this product.My alternator is the 115amp 0101548102 Bosch with the two terminals, one 13mm and one 8mm socket for the single wire not the plug in. I will be rebuilding and keeping the old alternator as a spare regardless of it being 17 years old, the regulator and bearings can be changed very easily that’s all that goes on these Bosch alternators.P.S. There are countless videos on YouTube which show step by step how to perform this task.

Beware
1998 Mercedes E320 Electrical connector will not fit back plate guide . You will have to shave or cut/break the plastic fit guide as it is not an exact replica of the OEM Bosch Alternator BOSCH: 0-123-510-068. IT DOES FIT AND WORK FINE!! Just have to make that 1 correction.

The alternator arrived 4 days sooner than expected. Seems to be of good quality. Comes with spec sheet.

Good fit, though electrical connectors are different
It was a good fit for my 2000 E320 Wagon (W210), but the connectors on this unit are pretty generic (screw poles), so had to mod factory mercedes ground connection from the car from a double spade to a generic ring terminal.

It didn't fit, Amazon said it would but didn't, I wanted 5 days for it to come too. So to say the least I wasn't happy

... of the alternator was cracked hopefully it wont go bad..
I order the alternator for my mercedes ml320 on friday and got it on monday thats 10 plus but the reason why im giving a 3 star is because the back black plastic cover of the alternator was cracked hopefully it wont go bad.....
