This was the perfect replacement for my power cord that died. New one works like a charm.

OMG! Solved my laptop problem!!!
All this time, for the past 1/2 year, I thought that my laptop battery was going bad which was causing my laptop display to go erratic and sound to buzzing and soon enough the whole laptop would freeze and require a reboot. But after getting this power adapter to replace my current one, it brought back my faith on my old gaming laptop. The laptop itself is over 10years old (13 years I think), and I've updated each component as they needed to be, except the adapter. But like I said, this worked perfectly in replacing the original adapter and now the laptop is back up used as my HTPC.

Can be used without force
This transformer worked just fine when I plugged it in, but later on it stopped working for some reason. The transformer had power but it just wouldn't work, so I ended up buying another original transformer.

Holding up good
Works great so far...my wife works from home 2-3 days a week and uses the laptop all day so she keeps it plugged in all day. Holding up good so far.

Bought two and they only lasted 7 months each
Do not recommend, power supply only lasts for 7 months. I bought with the same specs as my original and stopped working after 7 months. June 2022

Life saver
Work's with my Asus RoG A53SX and there's an extremely slight difference in how it holds in the port, but it's not noticeable enough to be an issue.

made computer crash
This worked for a while but then my computer started crashing and lagging. It took me a while to figure out that the problem went away when I stopped using this adapter. A lot of wasted time and frustration doing computer diagnostics
