What is the difference between model 710600 and 710601?

710600 is the European model number which is different from Thule’s U.S. model number 710601, though they r made the same. European model is much cheaper!

what is the difference between 710601 and 710600? can they be used interchangeably?

I cannot verify which is which -- however I called Thule customer service, and if you get the RIGHT person, they will be able to assist you with the difference. (Try numerous representatives... not all of them are the same!) What I THINK the difference in numbers is, is the UK serial number and the US serial number -- If you find a *proper* Thule rep (or contact Thule-UK), you can get this information verified--to which IT WILL WORK, as I am the customer who will order cheaper Thule products from the UK.
