Great filters, tasty water
These filters are the best easily available water jug filters on the market, they filter the most stuff out, without getting something really big and expensive like a Berkeley. I will keep buying them. Its becoming harder to recycle them though

I brought these water filters as my water out of my tap tastes horrible, they make the water taste so much better. They were a reasonable price and they last longer than the 30 days giving on the box. Will definitely buy again and have recommended to friends and family. Thank you.

replacements...
i have a large filter machine with a chiller section in the base. it takes the aqua optima filters (curved base with a single hole in the middle directly over hole to base), but (apparently) they have stopped making them, and these are a replacement (double hole, 1 at either end). they are a little stiff to fit, and due to the height, they cover the hole, blocking it, which prevents the water from filling the bottom. i have had to raise the top part that the cartridge fits onto to lift it up slightly, but they work, and do the job well. these are for 30 days, and i'm hoping that they make them to do 60 days like the optima did. good product though, and now i know they fit, and are a good replacement, i will be purchasing more...

Micro plastic
Initial thoughts are these evolve+ cartridges have a much higher flow rate than the old evolve. Micro plastic particles are something that I just don't like the sound of and the thought of them building up in my body has put me off water supplied in plastic bottles. The marketing storey is that the new elolve+ will filter out these plastic particles better than the old elolve cartridges - I would like to see the science behind this. We have very soft water here so there is little calcium to remove, but the water does certainly taste better after being filtered.

He comprado estos recambios en varias ocasiones porque se adaptan perfectamente a la jarra Britta y filtran bien, el agua tiene buen sabor. Todo correcto.
