Lasts a long time and my cat's favorite toy
Someone gave us one of these as a gift and our cat loves it. She doesn't really play with any other toys we've given her but she hunts this one down, wraps her body around it and then punts it across the room. It's wonderful to see her being playful. The catnip seems to keep it's kick for a long long time too. The old ball was two years old and had a few dings but she was still playing with it. Sadly, it disappeared one night so I had to get a replacement. One thing to note, I have not had any problems with catnip crumbs coming off of it. It is VERY solid.

Eh..
My cat rubbed her head all over it and was very happy with it for all of a day. Then the smell must have worn off because she hasn't touched it since. I tried scraping off some of the outer layer, but it's super compressed and I couldn't get to a new layer. Refillable toys are better.

Safety hazard to anmals!
This wasn't compressed catnip. One of my cat's had no interest in the ball the other cat played with it for five seconds. After that five seconds she had a piece chewed off and I had to take it away because it's hollow inside and was afraid she would choke on any other pieces she might chew off. Don't recommend this product!

Lasts a bit
Nice compact mice made of compressed catnip. Like a chew toy for cats. Lasts a while (I had 4 among 3 cats and 2 cat nip mice are still around but battered). My outdoor cat gnawed on one a while. The indoor cats bat it around and lick and bite and play with them. A stray cat would hop my fence nightly for a while to get at it at night - still took it a month before the mouse was obliterated.

Thirteen year old birthday gift
Got this for my cats thirteenth birthday and she loved it immediately. She got one for Christmas from someone one year in ball form that she still likes but I picked up the two pack mouse shaped version. Haven't seen her this excited in a while. Looking forward to hearing it :clunk: on the hard floor in the middle of the night...

Lasts a long time
My cat loves catnip, but this is his first compressed catnip toy. He likes it. It stays in the top section of his cat tree where he likes to sleep. He’ll lick it and get playful for a bit, then fall asleep, which is normal because the scent makes cats playful whereas ingesting it makes them sleepy. It’s lasted quite a while now, and will probably last a very long time, but I’d buy it again if needed.

Old and Stale Stogie. Not Happy.
My cats love these catnip stogies but when this new one arrived I was very disappointed. Not only was the stogie a very light beige color (usually they are brown) but it also did not smell of catnip at all. Even my cats couldn't smell any catnip and they ignored it. Usually they go crazy for them. Sending it back hopefully for a new one that doesn't look like it's been sitting in the hot sun all day. Or maybe it's just old and stale. Hoping the new one is fresher. Not happy at all with the inconvenience of sending this one back! You can see the color difference in the photos, the "new" stogie is the top one in both photos.

Our cats love these
Our cats love these so much, when we first gave them to them (one for each), they squabbled like toddlers, each trying to hoard both away from the other! They’ve gotten over that, fortunately, but they both love smacking these weighty toys around. My only complaint is that they frequently end up under bare human feet, and they’re hard!
