APC Genuine UPS Replacement Battery APCRBC123 for Model SMT750RM2UC BX1350M

Very happy with the battery and APC/Schneider customer service.I've had mixed results with generic batteries. Some perform for as long as expected, others disappoint.This is the second APC-branded replacement for this particular UPS. The last one was good for just over five years. The battery that came with the unit held out for over seven years, but may have expired a while before I noticed. (I now have a NAS connected that helpfully emails when the UPS detects a power problem, including a failed battery.)For this type of battery, which involves two batteries in a custom caddy, going the APC route makes a lot of sense. Quick and easy, no surgery required.APC support helped me out when the "bad battery icon" kept flashing after I installed the new battery. I had found some indication that the battery was hot-swappable, so I tried that. No problem, except the UPS didn't seem to realize things had changed. I was probably more conservative on the last battery change, and shut everything down before the swap.I contacted APC via chat, and they quickly and efficiently guided me through a factory reset, which resolved the issue. (It's pretty much disconnect everything, including the battery, then reconnected the battery, and hold the power button down for several seconds. Then, plug the UPS in again and start it up).I always dread contacting customer support, but this was a much, much better experience than usual.A good experience overall, I'll stick with the APC brand going forward.

Solid battery for your backup. Purchased Sept 15 2022, and it died Sept 17 2026. Four year run isn't bad and it no doubt saved and protected our electronics as we have power fluctuations often enough. Easy to install and did function long enough for shutdown last power outage.

Worked perfectly. Goes right into case with no problem. Shows it was tested and passed in May 26. However, it showed only 7 minutes runtime once turned on (1 bar).But after about 5 hours it was at 50% and almost 100% after 12 hours.

The generic ones last three years--Maybe we can get more out of the OEM replacement?

The battery is probably alright. However, do NOT believe Amazon when they say the battery comes 100% Charged. What this means is, when you replace the battery, you may not have enough charge to sustain your equipment if you have even a short power outage before the battery recharges, depending upon your load. I would recommend, if using your equipment is not required 24/7, that you leave your equipment powered down while the battery fully recharges, possibly up to 8 to 24 hours. My battery arrived only about 40% charged according to the PowerChute software that manages the APC UPS. You can monitor the approximate battery charge level by watching the UPS screen; pressing the right-hand button usually brings up a battery charge indicator. If you very seldom have outages, then go ahead and use the UPS. We here almost never have outages, and the battery self-test didn't reveal the battery problem until we had an extended outage. The very short self-test or even manual test just is not enough to determine a weak battery all the time. So don't depend upon it 100%. Probably wise to replace them at regular intervals, at least 3-5 years. I think my old one was 9 years old. Pretty good, actually.

Easy installation and it works like it should!

I was scared due to others' reviews. Maybe they were from a bad batch?I received these batteries today. Date of manufacture was in May. They appear to be brand new.I just installed them. No problems at all. They are fully charged.I just tested them. Desktop, 27" monitor, and a 3 way speaker system.Now, for the highly technical part. 8PJust sitting with a 3% load, I have 216 minutes of battery according to the app.I am happy and would buy again.

Fit and worked in my UPS. I had purchased a different replacement battery, but it came as two separate batteries and did not work with my UPS. This one did. Pay attention to model numbers...
