When i turn this on, i see the last temp i took, and then another temp (not my 2nd to last reading). what is this other reading? it says 97.7 always.

Mine does this as well, I think it just is a low default before saying "low"

Does this beep continuously while taking your temperature?

No mine does not, however I ordered this product and received a different thermometer. The one I recieved takes forever to take your temperature.

Is the beeping loud? I don't want it to disturb my boyfriend's sleep since this will be a daily thing.

I think it is very loud and I am constantly trying to cover the sound with my blankets. My husband wakes up every time if I don't. I wish I would've spent a few more dollars and gotten a vibrating one.

How long does it take to read the temperature?

Like a minute or so but long enough to get tired of waiting....and if you have a stuffy nose impossible to wait to the end:)
