Review: Effectively simple, accessible, and practical - I was looking for a fairly simple and accessible book to use in a class that I teach (volunteer) at a local prison. This small book fits the need. Juntilla's book will win no awards for its literary genius or its philosophical depth. Much of it can seem repetitive and simplistic. However, that is exactly what this kind of book needs, a multi-faceted approach that builds on different variations and perspectives aiming at a very difficult goal - defining a life's passion, vision, mission. Juntilla's use of questions to engage the reader/participant at every step seeks to sharpen the focus and cull the valuable from the examination of one's life experience and highest aspiration. I will be utilizing the book with inmates who have decided to do something different with their lives, whose sentences may mean only a few months until release to those with life sentences. To get their lives on a positive, productive path, they need to anchor themselves in a vision for what their lives can become, setting aside and moving away from whatever their lives had been. For those who may be spending the rest of their lives inside prison (or for a decade or more), they pose a particular challenge. Without direction in their lives, they will mark time and do little, wasting the promise of their future, limited as it is by incarceration. The book does a great job of developing the pieces that need to come together to attain the vision, to identify the passion, exploring positives and examining negatives. It has a constant goal of reaching beyond the treadmill of daily life, of marking time whether inside or outside prison, to something personally meaningful and fulfilling. I think this will be very helpful in my work with the men. Review: Above all, Useful - This is a very good book. Henri speaks directly to you about the topic, his experience of it and what your experience might be. There aren't many stories to illustrate points he makes. What is it? It is 25 questions for you to write about (Henri recommends paper and pen rather than on computer). They are all designed to explore what your passion is and how you can take the first step of living it. Each question is explained, along with roadblocks that might keep your from exploring; and then prompts that put the question a little differently if you find the first way it was put hard to answer. I never found the way the question was put hard to answer. I did find that some of the prompts lead me to explore different aspects of the question, so they were useful in this way. Henri's writing is clear and direct - it is always clear what he wants to say. Henri's approach is to start small. However tiny the step, the step is better than not taking it. And usually there is one tiny step we can take (I think Henri would say that there always is, if you start small enough; perhaps he is right.). If you have read a lot of self development some of the questions will be familiar to you. Exploring them once again is still valuable though - sitting with your reactions to: What would I do if I knew I couldn't fail? can be very useful to do again. I was certainly surprised in a good way by some of the stuff that turned up for me. It is fairly brief. You could probably work your way through it in a day. It may be better to do one chapter a day, to let the question sink in. Answering without feeling won't be as useful and quick answers tend to be heady. Why not five stars? It may be unfair but a book has to be a whole new ballgame and blow me away to get far stars out of me (I'm a hard marker I suppose). What this book is, is a very useful, accessible and clear guide to finding your passion. It will help you be clear what your passion is and how to take that first step, however small, in living your passionate life. Highly recommended.

Has changed my life
I was working at a financial institution the last 5 years and didnt realize how miserable I was and how much I hated being stuck in a cubicle staring at numbers all day. I did some research and decided to try this book. It took me about a month, going to starbucks every saturday and spending a good 2 hours each session to thoroughly answer each question the book posed in a thoughtful and thorough way. I had tried these types of books before but only half heartedly. The book really uncovered some of my hidden passions that had been locked away for many years due to negative thought patterns and a really strong fear of failure. This book helped me reconnect with those passions and also helped me to become much braver, less inclined to worry about what other people think and to have a more positive outlook on life. Since finishing the book 2 weeks ago, I quit my job in finance, and have devoted all my energy into becoming a private investigator which is what I have secretly always wanted to do. I have already received a job offer and have a interview coming up for a position as a Private Investigator for which I am feeling very confident about. I have also wanted to do a thru hike for many years and guess what? I just received my permit to hike the John Muir Trail starting in Yosemite on July 28th. I am so excited right now about the future and my Girlfriend can't believe the change she has seen in me over the last month. I finally have that feeling of wanting to jump out of bed each morning because I want to make the most of every day researching my upcoming hike and networking with local Private Investigators. Every time I have a negative thought now about how difficult the logistics of my hike might be, or what if I dont get this PI job i immediately remember what i have learned from "finding your passion" and i no longer feel stressed or anxious. It is honestly a real game changer if you put in the time and answer the questions honestly and with intent. You will not be disappointed. I would love to meet the author now just to thank them in person, I'm sure my girlfriend does too!

Good starting point if you're just getting out of college
This is a pretty decent book for getting you started on examining where you're at in life and helping you identify a general path going forward. Many of the questions are repetitive in nature and thereby maybe not as useful as 25 completely different questions. This book is not an exercise in determining a specific path in life, as much as it is a general course.

Find Your Passion: A Wonderful Guide for Your Journey
Find Your Passion is a wonderful book if you want to find the passion that will give you a more fulfilling, rewarding life or if you already know what your passion is and need some help making it come true. I really wish that this book was around two years ago when I changed careers to start working in what I do now. It would have helped me so much! Henri Junttila goes through 25 issues that you will encounter as you try to discover your passion and create your passionate life. He gives you practical solutions when issues like fear or making excuses come up. His approach is honest and wise and kind. The book is based on his own experience, so you can see how his solutions have worked for him. The book has exercises in each chapter to help you find your own unique answers. There's also a bonus workbook. Find Your Passion is really good even if you already know your passion and are working toward it because many of the issues reappear throughout life. It will be a great reference for you. I know from my own experience that this book will be thoroughly helpful to you. I highly recommend this book. You'll be so happy you bought it. Dr. Diane Chesson

Helpful, but not so thorough
Well, I'm a fresh grad and was a little confused when I first bought this book, not really knowing what to do with my life. So, I was seeking for coaching and inspirations, and this book with some great reviews came to me. Overall, the book does what it claimed. The author provided me 25 steps to realizing my dream and my goal by asking questions and questions so that I got to reflect on my self. It helped me create some workbook on my career path, and I was quite satisfied with the result. I got to know my self a little better. However, what I actually dislike about this book is that it's too abstract for me. Some ideas are not so practical and somehow sounded dreamy (which may be inspiring for some people but not just the coaching I was looking for). So, if you are looking for some specific, practical, directional books, this one may not be for you. But if you need some mental boost and sparkling inspirations, you may want to consider this one :)

A guide to insight and action
I have read a lot of books in the self-help field. I like this one particularly because Henri has a kind and friendly way of writing, and because the questions he presents genuinely inspired me to look at what I was passionate about in a new way. If you continue to think the same thoughts, you'll continue to have the same results. Using the questions in Henri's book, I found a few insights so I could think in a different way about creating my passion. That is priceless. I recommend this book to anyone who feels stuck, and is willing to ask themselves questions. Henri gives good examples so it is easy to follow along -- just put in the time. I also recommend this book to coaches looking for insightful questions to ask their clients. There is much here that can lead anyone to a more exciting, vibrant, and satisfying life.

Not the most interesting book
Perhaps this book would be of interest to those who are just setting out in trying to identify their personal gifts and talents. But for someone who has been reading on this topic for years, the information fails to impress.

Best self-development book l ever read
I want to change my life.So l read many self-development books. But l hardly fulfilled their works recommended in them. But l have fulfilled Henri's homeworks. Maybe because he is kind, and he always say “There's no wrong answer, only wrong is don't answer” So let's try his works and start to fulfilled life step by step.

A great read for anyone wanting to lead a happier more fulfilled life
I am a regular reader of Henri's "Wake Up Cloud" blog so I was very pleased to download his book. It is clear, direct, concise and very thought provoking, asking a series of direct questions which will lead the reader into a deeper understanding of both self and what we really want and love in our lives. I am very fortunate in that my life and work are very much my "passion" but for anyone stuck in a life/work situation that is not what they want then this book can certainly lead the way to profound change and a life which is both meaningful and enjoyable.

Beautifully Crafted and Insightful
"Beautifully written and thoughtfully structured, *Find Your Passion* truly stands out. The questions are designed to spark deep reflection and inspire meaningful ideas. It’s a crisp, engaging read that you can easily finish in one sitting—but the insights stay with you much longer. Wonderful work, Kate and Henry!"

Great quick read (not so quick workbook) to get back on track!
This has been so far the most helpful book I have found!! It's been a few years where more unconsciously than consciously I've been going down the rabbit hole of only doing my work and forgetting about everything else. Now, I wouldn't solely rely on this book to get you out of a depression, but it is an amazing tool that forces you to think. Take it seriously, write, and you'll get tons more value than you paid for. I've bought myself a moleskine notebook that I will keep my answers dated, so I can track progress and adapt based on that and other advise!!
