GSI Outdoors Pioneer Enamel 12 Pieces (4-Person) Dish Set I Enamelware Dishes Including Plates, Bowls and Mugs for Camping, Outdoors, RV, Camp, Blue

Arrived on time and well-packaged. I have had camp dishes similar to these before that were thin and almost flimsy. These tableware are nice and sturdy, and the enamel coating seems to be sufficient to maintain the protective layer for years of use. After a good inspection, I put them in the dishwasher to get them good and clean before putting them in my chuck box for my camping trip coming up at the end of the month. You get what you pay for and these appear to be well worth the money. While I wish the mugs were 16 or 20 ounce size, I knew they weren't when I ordered the set. However, the plates and bowls impressed me with size and capacity. I would recommend this tableware set. I will update this review with photos and maybe even a video when I have them in use.

My wife saw this set at a country store in the middle of no where. We weren't in the position to buy them at the time but then saw them on Amazon much cheaper. Same brand and color. We use this country looking set as our everyday set. It has held up very well with hard everyday use...dishes banging around in the sink with pots you know how it is. I have noticed one with a chip in the enamel or porcelain coating but again I expect this from the use we are giving them. I had a cheaper blue set from Academy that we used the same way and it didn't last nearly as long. The red color is real deep nice rich looking red. No regrets on this purchase.

There were three of us camping and this was all we needed. Well, we brought some travel coffee cups and water bottles that cut down the need for cups. This set is pretty unbreakable, maybe you could find a way? No enamel to chip. Do note that some sets include utensils and this one does not. We have an old set we don't mind using for camping. It was convenient to pack a few dish towels right in the carry bag with the dishes.

These are pretty! They should last a while. Quality seems fine - I suggest you inspect ea piece for sharp edges. I have little ones (6&8 yrs) & it felt like some pieces had sharp enough edges that they might get scraped or cut. I had to fine tune ~ 5 pieces. The last set I owned were old-school & made in the US, but these should last a while. Love, the red, they really are pretty!

Nice heavy feel to these camp dishes.

I was looking to upgrade the plates and bowls in my camp cook kit and really wanted to switch to enamelware for the ruggedness and the look. I trust the GSI brand with many other products I have used over the years but got concerned with some reviews I saw regarding warped or damaged items which suggested a quality control issue. I still decided to try ordering the set and was very pleased when it arrived. Every piece was well packaged and had no defects or quality control issues. The set looks great and has functioned well so far. I really only needed the plates and bowls, but getting the cups was a great added bonus. For everything included it is a pretty good value compared to other brands and having to buy each piece individually.

These are very well built and perfect for camping. I was also happy that they are dishwasher safe.

Love this stuff. I just wish it didn't get so hot when you put hot food on it.

Great quality. Bowls are a bit small but we love the set for camping.
