This book is part of Cambridge Language Assessment Series that were edited by the two language assessment figures Alderson and Bachman. Authored by Chapelle and Douglas, the book introduces the potentials of CALT (Computer Assisted Language Testing) as well as its controversies. Although the authors believe in the potentials and believe that they outweigh the limitations, they presented in this book a critical review of the research that dealt with these controversial and argumentative issues.Worth reading.
