Does this allow for good drainage in each pocket for an outdoor herb garden?

This is made of wool felt and the water will seep into the next pockets. There will be a water pan in the bottom pocket. Friendly reminder: Don't water the plants too much if you are growing them indoor, the water pan is not very big and will still spill over onto the ground. But I think the seller's  designed it like that is also reasonable. Otherwise the plants in the bottom pocket will be soaked to death, I hope my explanation will be helpful to you. Thank you!

Thank you for your attention to NEWKITS garden planter. it can be use to grow strawberries, Strawberries need at least 8 hours sunlight each day, and they prefer slightly acidic soil with a pH between 5.5 - 6.8. So you need to mix the soil well and hang it in a sunny place. Water strawberries 1-1.5 inches per week and avoid wetting the leaves when watering.

I would not recommend this product at all. I tried growing strawberries in it, but the pockets don't maintain water. I had to water them every day. The water spills down into the following pockets. Definitely don't hang this inside or it will destroy your wall. I had this hanging outside. Just a really crappy product. Don't waste your money.
