I will let my husband write this review: I hunt on a friend's property. His stands average 25 feet off the ground. It is difficult to climb up on a ladder type entrance with a rifle slung on your shoulder. It tends to slide off your shoulder as you climb. Even though you have an empty chamber for safety, the other worry is damaging your rifle as you climb, or knocking your scope out of zero. The landing outside the entrance to the blind is also small. This lift cord allows you to pull your rifle up to the blind in complete safety, for both you and an expensive firearm (or bow).

The thing does its job however…. Who or whatever wraps them up for shipping needs a shin kick. Impossible to unravel without a huge tangle bc of the way it’s wrapped.
