Works as intended, fast switching, good instructions
Love- switching between my PC and Macbook input in half a second- the easy instructions (you can find infographics and video tutorials on how to connect the components on the TESmart website and the packaging)- how compact and slim this KVM switch is! fits under a monitor standDo take note that if you use this with only one monitor- if after connecting all the wires, your monitor displays a black screen with just a cursor, it could be because the monitor is treated as an extended display- change your computer display settings. for Windows PC, I needed to press Windows Logo Key + P to switch to a single display mode

Poor build quality, fails after short period, no help
Worked for a while, then screens started randomly flickering, ultimately video output completely stopped. Contacted Tesmart, after troubleshooting, they turned around and said tough luck, it's out of warranty - here's a link to buy another one. That will be right, wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Works very well
I've been using this for over a month now and it's been very reliable. I wanted something to switch between my home desktop and work laptop without moving cables around twice each day.A couple of points to note:- Volume/multimedia keys on Ducky One2 SF keyboards don't work regardless of keyboard emulation setting. I have connected my keyboard to the USB2 port instead of the keyboard port and the volume and multimedia keys work fine, but this means I can't use keyboard shortcuts to manage the switch. (A minor inconvenience since the button and the remote work fine.)- Some other reviews mention monitors randomly going black for a couple of seconds. This happened to me and it turned out to be the supplied displayport cables which don't have clips. I replaced the supplied cables with DP cables of my own (with clips) and since then have seen no issues with monitors going off.Unlike some of the more expensive KVMs on the market this one doesn't allow separate switching of KVM, USB and audio, but that's OK with me. I purchased an audio switch and USB3 switch which work perfectly and the lot was cheaper than one of the more expensive alternative KVMs.Being able to split the input systems between both monitors to use one monitor each is very handy. For some reason the remote can do a couple of things the keyboard controls can't, like swap the monitors over when split between systems. The remote works well, but it's a shame that there aren't either more buttons on the front or more key combos to do what you need.Would have been five stars if it hadn't been for:- the reliance on the remote to achieve all display configurations- the supplied displayport cables that caused monitors to sometimes go blank- not recognising the multimedia keys on some keyboards even when not using keyboard emulation

Switch dual screens, audio, keyboard and mouse control between a laptop and PC seamlessly.
I have a Macbook and personal gaming PC with a wonderful mouse, keyboard, and 4K set-up. When I started my new job, my company issued me with a 13" windows laptop, docking station, and 2k monitor - my home 'office' isn't that big and I only have one desk which I needed to share between the two computers.I was constantly frustrated that I had two computers and two displays yet could only use one display at a time despite both of them being right next to each other. I tried to use an HDMI switching adapter but I still had issues with having to manually sort the audio and switch my keyboard and mouse around whenever I swapped between computers.I finally snapped and coughed up the £208.99 for this switch, and although it was really pricey, it was actually a great buy.I bought the 2x HDMI & DP to 2x HDMI KVM, and TESmart provided most of the cables I needed (just not the two HDMI cables to go into the back of the monitors). While the back of the KVM looks like an octopus orgy, using the switch is seamless.I just want to highlight how complex this setup is, and that headset, mic, mouse, keyboard and screens all work exactly as I was hoping:From the back of the KVM:Screen 1 HDMI goes to Screen 1Screen 2 HDMI goes to Screen 2Computer 1 HDMI goes to the PCComputer 1 DP goes to the PCComputer 1 USB goes to the PCComputer 2 HDMI goes to the Docking stationComputer 2 DP goes to the Docking stationComputer 2 USB goes to the Docking stationMouse goes to MouseKeyboard to KeyboardUSB goes to 3 USB ports and an audio jack in the back of screen 1The docking station has 2x external hard drives connected to it, which both my MacBook and laptop can see when connected. Both portables pick up the audio from my headset.I didn't bother with the IR remote, but it worked fine - personally, my favorite feature that these guys have done is being able to switch control of computers via a keyboard combination.Might update the review with a picture of the setup later.
