Great for chewers
Perfect size and very durable. Our frenchie and bully breeds have gone ham on this and it’s still hanging in there. They all loved it and the flavor. It’s easy for them to carry around. Even our IVDD dog loves playing with this and chewing on it. So far all the pups love it so we will have to order more. Strong, great look, long lasting and keeps them busy. The dogs all love it.

Great for chewers
These are a durable durable dog toy. The material is good and allows for long lasting chew and enjoyment. Ordered a large for larger dogs although I know some people order a medium even for larger (100+ lb) dogs. Personally we prefer the larger for large dogs and the dogs cannot get enough of them - they are their go to toy. I have also gifted these and our friends dogs love them as well - great value for the money and lots of variety in flavors - Pets love them and they are long lasting

Best chew toy available - period
Our Staffy & Pit LOVE these! All of them over the years have. Bought several over the years for all our rescues and AKC’s. High quality. Large size is plenty big for months of chewing, anxiety release, tooth cleaning and general fun. Could cause fights if you have 2+ “high prey/competitive drive” dogs so buy several for each room or location (way cheaper than ER room), they’re more than worth it. I’m NOT associated with Benebone in ANY way, so my advice comes from decades of premium k-9 care & easily 6 figures in expenses paid. These are NOT cheap China junk filled with toxins. Do NOT give your dog that $ store or grocery store crap. Buy the real deal - Benebone. They’re legitimate quality and our big, muscled, high separation anxiety, very protective and spoiled fur babies love them as much as we love our fur “babies”. Keeps them very busy at times and greatly helps their teeth, gums, muscles and enjoyment. Thank you Benebone (again)! I just now ordered the 4 for the price of 3 Large jack salmon fishbones to go with their other Benebone collection because as a saying goes “life is short, SPOIL your dog”! The last fishbone was one of our incredible rescues “wooby”. We can’t/won’t EVER forget how much love she gave us, we her & Benebone for providing the priceless joy we spent so relatively little on…a BARGAIN compared to the wasted $ on “fake” Benebone imposters. Thank you AGAIN (again) Benebone!

Highly recommend
LOVE IT! My Corgi (21 lbs) has had this toy for a year and a half and it had held up so well! The ends are definitely showing their wear from all of the vigorous chewing but it has otherwise maintained its shape and consistency. This is also probably his favorite toy, maybe tied with The Kong Ring. Definitely recommend for enthusiastic chewers.

This is my golden retriever’s favorite chew toy. It’s been a couple months now and has held up well.

My Dogs' Absolute Favorite Chew: Tough, Flavorful, and a Lifesaver for Boredom!
What sets the Benebone Wishbone apart isn't just its durability—though that's impressive enough—it's the thoughtful design that caters to how dogs actually play and chew. Crafted from super-tough nylon infused with real bacon flavor (not some artificial nonsense that fades after one gnaw), this wishbone-shaped toy is ergonomically curved for easy gripping with paws or mouth, making it perfect for aggressive chewers who like to toss, carry, and battle it around. The three prongs give them multiple angles to attack, which keeps them engaged for hours without getting bored. For my Goldendoodles and Golden Retriever, who are all large-breed goofballs with endless energy, the large size (about 7.5 inches long) is spot-on—not too big to intimidate, but substantial enough to withstand their enthusiastic chomping. We've had ours for over two months now, and while it's showing some honorable battle scars (tiny grooves from their teeth, which actually make it easier for them to grip), it's nowhere near splintering or breaking. Compare that to the Nylabones we've tried, which either splintered too quickly or lacked any real appeal—these Benebones win hands down every time.Flavor is where this toy really shines, though. That real bacon infusion isn't just a gimmick; it's embedded throughout the nylon, so even as they chew deeper, the savory scent and taste keep coming. The more food-motivated Goldendoodle goes absolutely feral for it—drool flying as he parades it around the living room like a trophy, grumbling possessively if the others get too close. The female Goldendoodle prefers a more playful approach, flinging it across the room before pouncing back in for wrestling matches that leave her curls even more disheveled, while the Golden Retriever settles on the rug for long, focused sessions that help him unwind after fetch marathons. It's hilarious to watch them "fight" over it (in the gentlest, most sibling-rivalry way), but what's even better is how it redirects their energy. No more shredded couch cushions or nipped at ankles during zoomies—these bones have cut down on destructive behavior by at least 80%, giving me more time to relax and less time playing fetch with toy remnants.Safety and quality are top-notch too, which is crucial when you're dealing with heavy chewers. Made in the USA with non-toxic materials, it's free from BPA, phthalates, and all that sketchy stuff you worry about with imported plastics. The company even encourages responsible use: supervise play, especially for puppies or super-aggressive types, and replace when the ends wear down (though ours are still going strong). At this price point for a toy that lasts weeks instead of days, it's an absolute steal—I've already ordered backups in peanut butter flavor to rotate in and keep things fresh. If your dogs are anything like mine—energetic, mouthy, and in constant need of occupation—this Benebone Wishbone will be a game-changer. It's not just a chew toy; it's a boredom buster, a dental helper (those ridges get the tartar going), and a source of pure joy for your furry family members. My dogs love these bones more than their walks some days, and that's saying something! Five stars all the way—highly recommend grabbing one (or three) before your next Amazon order. Your sanity (and your furniture) will thank you.

Jumbo Chew for a Jumbo Chewer
I have been buying stuff on Amazon for over 20 years and I don't usually write reviews for products, probably because I buy so much stuff that it would constitute a full time job. However, because their product is actually really good, I am making this exception. We share our house with a now 12 month old, 175 lb. English Mastiff who is still not done growing by a long shot (his grandpa was 230+). He has an enormous head wrapped with a bunch of particularly powerful muscles, most of which are designed to operate a mouth full of huge teeth that he feels compelled to exercise constantly. We tried several different toys (most of which were instantly reduced to their component parts), with varying degrees of success. In searching on line, I came across the name Benebone. After going to their website, and then reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to give one a go. From the get go, he loved it! When he was a few weeks old, he was about the size of a Labrador and so it took him a while to degrade it to any great degree. After two or three weeks, it became pretty gnarly with dried dribble and general detritus picked up from the carpet and his bed, and so I threw it in the washing machine with some old rags that needed cleaning. Due to the rough surface from his constant chewing, it came out looking like a fur ball. So I ordered another and consigned the old one to the trash can because I couldn't pick the fur off. It was like Velcro! Since then, he has worked his way through eleven bacon flavored Benebones (plus three new ones sitting on the shelf) which have kept him occupied and distracted from chewing other potentially expensive, not to mention harmful objects. There is no bacon odor that I can determine, however, he can smell one through the packaging and so there is no doubting that the smell, bacon or not, appeals to dogs. He received all kinds of stuff for Christmas last year, but the present that he got the most fun out of was ripping open the little box that contained his new Benebone. He knew exactly what was in the box and went straight to it, ignoring the other packages! As he has got bigger, they can degrade pretty quickly, mainly due to the size of his bite, but he gets at least a week or two out of each one. Again, this will not be the case for most dogs, and I am sure that a bone will last much longer for a more normal sized pet. We usually wait to see how the bone breaks down before taking it away. Some of them just wear down to a small tee, but others, he gets a groove going and then keeps after it with an almost maniacal fervor until a large piece is in danger of breaking off. The normal pieces that come off are small but prickly and get stuck in most fabrics, however, they seem to pass right through his freeway sized intestine without issue. I am concerned that if he chewed through somewhere in the middle, the resultant chunk could be problematic if he swallowed it, as the rough surface could cause it to become stuck inside. But don't be alarmed, you get plenty of warning that this is starting to happen. Just take a look at it once in a while. We have now graduated to the Jumbo size Benebone and would buy a monster jumbo if they were to make it! All in all, an excellent product, made in the USA by a small family run business, that performs as stated; and you don't get to say that too often these days!

Great product
First off if you step on one of these that has been chewed it is worse than a Lego. I have 2 pugs and a Pug/Boston terrier mix. The pugs have never shown any interest in chewing anything. The PB chews on everything. I bought a larger version of this wishbone and it was a hit to the point the pugs are chewing on. To avoid the fighting I bought two more just smaller. The pugs showed no interest...huh Until the PB chewed the ends up for them. Now everyone is happy and has a bone. The PB will carry the bone outside with her and always makes sure to bring it back when she comes in. I will be buying more of these the small is perfect size & weight for a pugs mouth. It is solid material not splintery, smells good to them and light enough they can play with it. Well worth the money.

My dog absolutely loves it!
Purchased a few of these Benebone dog chew toys in the past and my dog loves them. I wouldn’t say they are indestructible but does take my dog a long time to wear it down. Despite having a small dog, he can be an aggressive chewer and Benebone chew toys are one of the chew toys we always fall back on. I feel they are well worth the money which keeps my dog entertained for hours. I have never felt worried about my dog choking. I purchased the bacon flavoured wishbone this time and my dog seems to really enjoy it. The wishbone is curved for a paw-friendly grip so your dog can grab it and get a good chew going (dogs don’t have thumbs) Definitely not suitable for puppies but perfect for adult or mature dogs.

Keeps my puppy busy
It is almost indestructible.. my puppy has been at it for months. However she has chipped off the edges and those have become sharp. Need to be careful handling it after that
