The issuse with opening the safe with a magnet has been resolved right?so, how do i know that i recieved one that has been modified to fix this issue?

I don't know either about opening with a magnet. Sentry Safe is NOT very open with information. Also they do NOT full fill their warranty. I got a safe with defective electronics that kills the batteries very quickly and will not open. I have replaced the batteries many times in seven months and even used batteries with 10 year exploration and they still die. Sentry Safe will not comply with the warranty on the box. They are very frustrating to call and deal with. Sorry I don't know about the magnet problem, they won't answer.

Does this offering include the interior locking drawer in the $229.99 price? It is included in the iItem Description & in photos.

I will never know because they locked the keys inside and shipped it to me with dead batteries. I have no way of opening it. The instructions say in order to open it for the first time, we need to remove the shipping screw, located on the INSIDE. If you got yours open, I'm happy for you. Because they STOLE my money and sent me a worthless heavy junk box.
