Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick, 0.26 Fl Oz (Pack of 2), Tea Tree Oil Infused, Soothing, Exfoliating, Cleansing, Unisex

This has been one of my go-to products for breakouts for almost 15 years. I roll it on over blemishes, and no matter what sort they are, this helps within like an hour or two. The breakouts become smaller and less painful. I'm not sure it helps much with redness, and it's less effective on those awful big deep breakouts that hurt a lot, but I'm not sure anything is super effective on those. I always have one of these on hand. It does seem as though, if I overuse it, my skin adjusts to it and it becomes less effective, but if I stop using it for a few days/a week and go back to it, it works like a charm again. I alternate this with the e.l.f. spot gel to keep my skin from getting to used to it, and I like that too but this is more natural and has a better texture on the skin (once it dries, it's like nothing is there).This is alcohol-based, so it will sting for a few seconds over broken or irritated skin, but I have very sensitive skin and tons of allergies (literally, my allergist is fascinated by me) and I've never had a problem with this--check the ingredients, though, if you have trouble with natural products. It smells strongly of tea tree oil, which I don't mind. The smell fades pretty quick. If going around your nose, you might breathe in the alcohol smell for thirty seconds or so, but it does go away once the alcohol evaporates. I wouldn't put it too close to your eyes for that reason, though I have used it around my brows without a problem. Highly recommend.

Acne since I was a teenager and I'm now middle aged and still have it. Yep, good times. But I know when something is good for preventing the cystic acne from appearing or at least reducing its size. This is the absolute best thing I've ever found. Works without fail. To be clear this is best when applied to a zit that is forming, not a whitehead but it will work to help reduce time/healing for those too. I've used tea tree formulas before but this applicator is so easy to use. Just make sure to always use in clean skin so you don't contaminate the ball. I guess you could try "washing" the ball with a little soap on your finger but I haven't done this.

Doesn't sting but did help my children keep blemishes banished for a while. It smells lovely like fennel seeds. It doesn't burn going on your skin. My teen uses this at bedtime and loved it so much we got a two pack to replace it. This doesn't leave your skin feeling oily but rather refreshed. I would buy this again!

It’s not a cure-all, but it works so well for spot treating breakouts without completely throwing off the balance of my skin. I apply morning and night to problem zits and I notice reduced redness pretty quickly, with white heads diminishing within probably 12 hours. It’s not super drying, which I love, and I can feel it working as soon as I put it on. The smell is not my favorite (very earthy, like a strong botanical), which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, but that hasn’t stopped me from using it at all!

I have had very stubborn acne for about 10 years now. Every time I go to a dermatologist they try to prescribe pills or topical medications to me without really investigating the source of my acne which has left me very frustrated. I eat healthy and take care of my body which is why I prefer not to take pills. I tried this burts bees blemish stick as I was wanting a natural remedy and let me tell you... I have ordered it multiple times over and over. I notice my local CVS doesn't keep their inventory stocked so ordering on Amazon has worked well. I use the blemish stick on existing acne and also when I can feel a new one coming. It works relatively fast, reduces redness and I am overall very happy with this product. Also gives me peace of mind knowing I am using an all natural product. You can also use as a spot treatment under your make up if you can't go make up free throughout the day. It dries out your acne but doesn't try it out nearly as much as toothpaste or other topical products I have tried in the past. Dries it out just enough to kill it but not to make your face overly peel. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I’ve been using these Burts Bees complexion oils for years and I just want to say how awesome it is! It contains an oil blend with lemon oil. It is not only great for blemishes like acne but it also will help dry out and shrink warts, and even skin tags! It’s also amazing on mosquito bites, it helps them dry out and heal faster and takes away some of the itch even! It doesn’t dry my skin out, just helps the blemish dry up and heal faster. I use it on my kids for big bites and it doesn’t burn or sting. It’s great stuff and the price on Amazon is a good deal (2 pack for $13), it is more like $8 each at Walmart and target, so it’s a good deal!

I love this product. I see that some people don’t like the smell, but I actually love it. I remember the first time I used it was about 11 years ago. I had a strange zit like thing close to my eye and, as a 15 year old, tried to pop it. Nothing happened except my eye swelled almost shut. I was mortified. My friends mom saw how my face was swollen and I told her how it got that way. She came back with a complexion stick and gently put it on the area that I had tried to pop. Within a few hours my eye was no longer swollen. Ever since then I have used it on pimples that are too deep to pop and it works like magic. Sometimes my boyfriend even uses it because it works so well. I don’t recommend putting it all over the face, just on problem areas.
