I only wish I had started sooner
This stuff is incredible! I’ve been using 3 drops of 15% lugols now for nine years, following a scan showing large cysts on my ovaries and fibroids. My gyno was going to book me in for a hysterectomy and I decided to start iodine and wait a couple of months to see if it helped. Within a couple of months I was cyst free, with only scarring left from fibroids. Nine years later and no hysterectomy. The happy accident was that it stopped my migraine disorder in it’s tracks! I used to take daily medication for migraine with aura, which would hit me every month before my period, and left me wiped out for days at a time. I’ve also heard that it’s helpful with fertility issues. (Look up #iodinebabies) I’ll be taking this for the rest of my life. If I stop for a couple of months my painful cysts reappear and so do my migraines. I can’t thank Lugol’s iodine enough for giving me back my quality of life.

Good non-stinging brand iodine for scratches and deeper wounds
Lugol's high-strength iodine was terrific and although not the Continental stinging type, did disinfect scratches and deeper wounds very effectively. Made in the UK, I can recommend it, but can't find it under this name anymore. That is because it has been rebranded as Bob's (with the Lugol name secondary). This version is also good, but I miss the sting of raw iodine (so you know it is working!)

Excellent quality
As our bodies can’t make iodine, it must come from our diets, hence I have been using 2 drops daily for apx 5 weeks with a rest of 3 months, has helped to regulate heavy periods. Cleans the cells with many other uses, best to read Dr Marc Sircus book on Iodine or go to a good naturopath for guidance first. I've also been using it for toe nail fungus and warts, also as an antiseptic although it does stain. A must have in the medicine cabinet, sadly no longer available in the chemists.
