Rao’s Vodka Sauce has a rich, balanced flavor that tastes much closer to homemade than most jarred sauces. The tomato base is smooth and not overly acidic, and the cream adds a nice depth without making it too heavy. It heats up well and pairs perfectly with pasta, chicken, or even as a base for pizza. The ingredient quality is noticeable, and it does not have the overly sweet taste that some other sauces do. A little goes a long way because of the bold flavor. While it is priced higher than basic sauces, the taste and quality make it worth it. I would definitely buy it again.

Rao’s Vodka Sauce simply paired with Rao’s steel cut Rigatoni has been our Go-To. These two products now stay in the pantry. Rao’s Is the very Best. Worth every dime. True Product of Italy. Yum!!

When I first got the sauce, I thought it was strange that it’s not as creamy as the ones you get restaurants. But I actually prefer the sauce over any others that I’ve ever had. I use it in place of any marinara or any sauce. It’s the only sauce that I buy. Rao’s has great ingredients, really good quality, and the perfect consistency. I usually pair it with their pasta, which is also really good.

Rao's Sauce is really the best. It's where the foundation of your customization for taste begins. The only issue I have has nothing to do with the quality of the sauce or the product. I've ordered this twice now from Amazon. but the shipping department doesn't seem to be prepared to protect the jars, outside of a crumbled up roll of packaging paper. I shop Amazon a lot, so it's a little disappointing when one of the jars has popped open and you have to wipe the sauce off the other items in the box. Amazon has great customer service. They reimbursed me for the jars that became unusable, so I'm good with that. But, I'm not sure what the answer is regarding shipping, because they consolidate items to save on the cost of shipping; and I get that; it makes perfect sense. I just wish they had the time (which they may not have) to pack it more securely.
