Surprisingly wonderful
This game takes the Order of the Phoenix style and improves upon it exponentially. I was thoroughly impressed by it. The controls are great, the gameplay is fun, the extras are cool. This is my second favorite Harry Potter game. Really good.

Some of the best replay value of any harry potter game
Great game! Loosely follows the plot of the book, and movie. A lot more focused than the previous game with the most complete Hogwarts in any game ever. Lots of replay ability due to the mini-games you unlock such as dueling, potion making, flying (seeker only). There also additional quests available once the game is completed. You can face off against your friends in dueling, and pass the controller for potion making which is very fun and interactive.

Ok
The seller's description was perfect and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. As for the game itself, my first Harry Wii game was Deathly Hallows 2 so in comparison this game is really boring. It is mostly the movie and not much for Harry to do. The dueling scenes are fun but few and far between. It is not interactive enough.

Almost a complete miss
As a huge Harry Potter fan I thought I should try my hand at some of the games. Half Blood Prince being my favorite movie, I thought I would start there. Sadly, I was disappointed in this game; the only good thing I could see coming from it, was it gave me an excuse to put down the epic failure known as Black Ops.My main system is PS3, but I didn't expect a Potter game to be much on that system and that is why I decided to get the Wii version, for the controller action. But as usual, the Wii's strengths are also its weaknesses. While it is fun to use the remote to cast spells, fly your broom, mix potions, etc...they are finicky. In some situations they seem to have a mind of their own, casting spells you didn't mean to cast, targeting the wrong object and so on. However, it is more entertaining to be in such control over your character. I just wish more time had been spent on the controlling, a little more fine tuning and I think the handling would have been great. The graphics were a major let down. The characters looked as if they should have been in an early Nintendo 64 game and the voices aren't even close on some. As far as the environment goes, I think a very nice job was done, but its not enough to distract from the poor job done on the characters themselves. Even the spells just seem like the same ball of light just in a different color. This is stuff I would have expected back in the day, but not on Wii, not even on Game Cube for that matter. The world is huge, which is another negative feature of this game, it takes forever to get anywhere and luckily you have Nearly Headless Nick that you can call on to guide you to your next goal. Without him navigation would be next to impossible. Constant tasks keep you on the move and there are sudden surprises like duals with Slytherins and other side-tracking events. These are all poorly scripted, acted out by the characters horrible, and just seem flat out cheesy. They really stop the whole storyline dead. What I do like about this game is it does give you a chance to just exist in the Hogwarts setting. If you have ever wanted just to enter that world and walk around then this game may be fun to you. I enjoyed getting to get into the whole Potter mindset a little bit more and the game was entertaining, but it wasn't at all what I had hoped. I think it was rushed out a little too fast. More polish and I think it could have been something great. So that would be my verdict, excellent if you have ever just wanted to be Harry Potter and walk around Hogwarts, fair to ok if you are looking for a fun and challenging game.

I love it!
I am really enjoying the four Harry Potter series discs. So much like the book and movie. Great tasks, fun things to figure out. Great escape from the workgrind.

Awesome!
The only complaint I have with this game is that it ends too soon! It took us a few short days to play through. I will say though, this is a wonderful game to explore the castle and grounds with... to learn potions and spells and to learn to duel like a wizard! What fun! Thank you and I highly recommend this product. :)

Terrible game. My 11 year old was bored
Terrible game. My 11 year old was bored, and finished it in one day. He was soon looking forward to playing it with me, but finished it while I went to the store. Once you master the spells it amazingly easy to beat everything, and there is no other level to advance to.

Not worth the price
We played all the lego Harry Potter games and really enjoyed them. This game was much less fun.
