What are the ingredients in vac glide solution

I'd take that answer from DTMS Direct as a warning not to deal with them. They could have chosen to list the ingredients helpfully, which presumably are on a bottle not far from them. They could just ignore the question. Alternatively, they could come up with a humorous answer. Instead, they answered "salt n pepper". How odd.

Thought it would be cheaper but £15 cheaper on Vax site

It used to be the same price as Vax, but it has gone up over the last couple of weeks! Ridiculous and extortionate!!

What does this smell like? Is the smell over powering or very highly perfumed?

It smells nice and fresh, not too strong, for me that is. I bought it on behalf of an elderly friend who doesn't do internet shopping. She bought the machine but I've been cleaning for her for the past 19 yrs. Tried all sorts of mops etc but found the Vacs cleaner to be the best.

Is this solution compatible with the Shark HydroVac?

Vax recommends using Vax solution with Vax products only. Hope this helps.
